I'm not someone who has ever written reviews before, but as a current resident, I could not be looking any more forward to moving out. If you are reading this as a prospective resident, spend your money somewhere else. The only pros about living here are that the bedrooms are spacious, there is a controlled access garage, and if you are a student, it's only about a 10 minute walk to campus. The BAD: - This is the 4th place I have ever rented from. Within the first 4 months of living here, I had to submit more maintenance requests that the other 3 places I've lived at COMBINED. This included 4 maintenance requests I had to submit on move-in day alone. Luckily they do have a great maintenance team. - The maintenance guys have told me that PTLA use the cheapest replacements for repairs, such as light bulbs that they know only last 6 months (if that). - I could talk for an hour straight about all the problems with homeless people here. They constantly break into the gate to go dumpster diving, leaving a mess every time. In addition to that, they regularly set up camp on the property and will spend days at a time on the property. My neighbors and I have been yelled at and pestered by homeless people to open the gate for them countless times. The night before writing this review, I saw a homeless man who somehow had a key to the trash shed unlock it and proceed to go diving in the dumpster, leaving the so called "controlled access" complex wide open to anyone who might want to wander in. - There is no secure system for packages. They are left outside your front door waiting for the high likelihood that homeless people who are regularly getting in to the gates are stealing your packages. - I wish I could say I was exaggerating when I say that I see an average of 2 drug deals go down in mill alley per week. People are constantly smoking crack outside my bedroom window. - Noisiness is to be expected with student living. I personally am someone who does not get bothered by loud neighbors, but if you're someone who really values your peace and quiet, and cannot sleep in loud environments, this is not the place for you. The neighboring property is a conjoined frat/sorority live-out duplex, and they love to party and blast music (often well after 2 am) If you live here, I guarantee that you will feel like you are living in the slums.
