Do everything you can to find somewhere else. BMC is awful, there is no AC, the walls are concrete and yet you are woken up every night by doors slamming and nothing is ever done. The elevator was out of action for 6 months last year.

I loved this apartment for the short time I lived here and I dream of moving back here. I really loved this place. Never any noise or neighbor issues. I didn't drive so there was a lot in walking distance. Really great place, Pam was very kind. I really miss this place.

Great location between campus and downtown Eugene. Management was responsive and solved any issues that came up. Older building but has lots of charm. For a young professional or college student, this is a great option.

More like 4.5 stars out of 5. I lived in two different apartments (a studio then a one-bedroom) here a few years ago when Kathi was the manager, who was the best ever, in my opinion. Josh was an excellent maintenance worker who responded quickly to any problems. The only real issue I recall is the windows swinging wide open whenever the wind blew hard. Some of the neighbors were a bit noisy, too, but that is almost expected anywhere. I am not sure how much has changed over the last few years since moving out east. However, I remember getting more than my money's worth. The location is practically unbeatable, too!

The staff is great. Kathy was always helpful and despite the fact that there is only one maintenance guy (Josh) he always seemed to get things fixed the same day or the next day. It is an old building so it is not as posh as the new places in town but the rent is affordable. The appliences and cabinets are old, as are the single pane windows. There is no AC which is something to keep in mind for the summer, but they pay for utilities so you can have your place as hot as you want in the winter. It is not a no smoking building, so check out the room before you rent, some floors are smokey some aren't. Overall I enjoyed my time here.
