My tour was handled with the utmost professionalism. Edward was great he walked me through the property showing me every area including two units. After my tour and because of Edward’s excellent Communication skills and attention to detail I immediately submitted an application to live in this pristine community. When someone takes the time to explain every detail that is something extraordinary. My impression of the management is so above the norm . Thank you Edward for all that you do! Sincerely, Damon S

I didnt have much issues with the property other than my water pipe in the shower coming out brown for the first few seconds. Management said thats normal and it will go away. After a year living there it never went away. I stayed in apartment 8 facing the freeway, at night the walkway lights never worked so you could not see our building which made it feel unsafe especially in the evening for my wife walking alone. Its easy for anyone to hide in the bush and mug her. Once in the early morning I heard people rummaging into the apartments below me and then hurried off into a car. I reported it to management suggesting fixing the lights, they said they would and never did. My biggest gripe is how the management handles your move out. Dont expect to get your deposit, and in fact expect to pay on top of it. I took care of the apartment very well. Never wore shoes in the house, and had very little guests over in my year there. It was just me, my wife, and newborn son. Before moving out We cleaned the property thoroughly, vacuumed, and steamed the floor. We never mounted anything, or even touched the walls. First we agreed on a date and time for my final move out (afternoon slot) and an hour before it the property manager conveniently emails to cancel instead of calling. I show up, shes present and says they did the walk through in the morning without giving me a notice. I get my final statement, and they charged me for paint ($90.00), carpet repair, and cleaning. On top of my deposit that they took I had to pay extra. Again, we were clean and simple residents. What they charged me would be for anything outside normal wear and tear, but even at that there was nothing damaged, or needing to be replaced that we caused. They sent pictures of the wall with a little paint scuff smaller than a penny, and charged $90 to repair that. So it looks like they do this to every resident moving out, but dont actually do the work, because if they did especially the paint then I wouldnt have to pay anything because we didnt damage any walls. They basically pass all the fees that come with preparing for the next resident onto previous residents which isnt right especially if you didnt do anything to damage the property. I hope this helps anyone considering moving here. This is the first time Ive dealt with property managers like this. Your deposit should come back to you if you've respected the property.

Moving into our new apartment community was a great experience! Although there was a hiccup in communication on the time of our move in, Erica was very welcoming and ensured we had everything in order by the time our movers arrived. Maria and the fellow cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful in allowing us to move in around the areas they were wrapping up cleaning. Overall we cannot express our gratitude enough to everyone at The Cove who has made us feel right at home! :)
