I lived here for almost 2 years; I am in the military so living where the association/staff is flexible and communicative is a must-have. Throughout my tenure here (up until the moment of moving out) I did not have any issues; the housing office was quick to assist with any concerns or issues I had. My move-out experience was a bit negative. Prior to moving out, I devoted several days to cleaning my unit extensively - it was absolutely spotless, and short of removing appliances, in "move-in" condition. However, the leasing office still withheld $250 worth of "cleaning fee" due to finding cat toys under the fridge and cleaning behind appliances, as well as damage to the unit (damage that I had already documented prior to moving-in). Overall, they did not provide me with a good enough reason as to why I was charged so much for simple things as stated above, nowhere near worth a $250 "cleaning fee". Unfortunately, through the military I am used to housing complexes taking advantage of either myself or Sailors that I work with, simply because they think we will not "care" or already be stationed somewhere else to follow through with complaints. As I mentioned before, this is a calm and nice complex to live at (if you don't mind the highway right next to you) - BUT be mindful of your move-out as they may not be very clear on expectations of the unit and may withhold some of your deposit for ridiculous reasons.

Loud neighbor, extremely poor management. Our neigbor above us has had loud TV noise after 11 pm for more than 6 months. The management is not even able to handle issues like loud tv noises. Whenever I reach her (the apartment manager) she says it takes time to evict him. Probably they plan to evict him after a year.

This complex is simply one of the best places you could live in town. The management is incredible. Amanda, the community manager, is the most wonderful property staff I’ve ever encountered. My roommate and I moved here feeling uncertain of how long we’d stay. We ended up being here for almost 3 years and only left due to work/personal reasons in our lives. Otherwise we would have stayed here even longer. The team at this complex is incredibly responsive, they address maintenance issues so quickly, and the complex is so lovely to be in. The place is quiet, super easy for parking if you have guests, and is conveniently located between all the shops in the area and downtown La Mesa. I’m so happy that I got to experience living here . I loved it and so did anyone who ever visited me. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is considering it!!

Pros: New, modern apartment complex with beautiful landscaping, cameras throughout the community and parking areas that are reviewed often, timely maintenance, pet friendly, large dog run, easy access to freeways, and only a short distance from food and shopping. Cons: There is a bit of freeway noise and frequent encounters with homeless people in the area, but kind of unavoidable in San Diego. Rent a car garage if possible. Overall great place to live for pet owners, singles, or couples with no children. Friendly staff. All of our concerns are taken seriously, and there are also plans to fully gate the community.

Love my apartment!! The complex is always kept clean and tidy. Staff is always nice and polite. Manager Collette is Awesome!! She always has a smile on her face and follows through fast, and courteous. Repairs are done immediately. Very quiet and peaceful complex...
