I moved into Metro at Fireclay and knew almost immediately that it was a mistake. I ended up leaving after only about five and a half months and accepting the financial loss just to get out. The biggest issue was constant fees and policies that seemed designed to extract extra money from residents. For example, when their payment system glitched and rejected my rent payment, I was still charged a late fee even though the problem wasn’t on my end. I also submitted the insurance documentation they required, but because the format didn’t match exactly what they wanted, they charged additional fees instead of working with me to resolve it. Communication with management was extremely frustrating. When I tried to escalate concerns, the focus often felt more like defending company policy than actually helping solve the issue. Interactions with management frequently left me feeling dismissed rather than supported. Maintenance was also disappointing. My dishwasher required multiple service requests over the course of about a month before it was actually fixed. Each time it was marked “resolved” even though the issue hadn’t been addressed. Daily living in the building also had its own challenges. Residents are required to use multiple apps just to live there (door access, packages, etc.), and they were often unreliable. The package system in particular was very inconvenient and resulted in several of my deliveries being misrouted or lost. Cleanliness was another issue. Stairwells often smelled strongly of dog urine, and the hallways were sometimes cleaned with chemicals so strong that it gave me a headache walking through the building. Overall, the complex looks great in marketing photos, but the day-to-day experience didn’t match the “luxury apartment” price tag. Between the policies, fees, maintenance delays, and general living environment, I ultimately decided it wasn’t worth staying. If you’re considering Metro at Fireclay, I strongly recommend reading reviews carefully and comparing it with other options before signing a lease.

The lady at the desk was absolutely amazing! We have found a few apartments that we liked in the area. But Metro definitely is winning because of how amazing Lily was. She answered all of our questions. And we feel we vibed with her super well. Super cute. Management is important.
