Tynel is exceptionally kind and thorough in assisting tenants. Her support is greatly appreciated and I will certainly miss her.
Regarding the apartments, while they're not fancy, they have the essentials at a reasonable price. Providing good value especially considering the area.

Do not live here!
I’ve been living here for 10 months without ever signing a lease, which already felt unusual. When I moved in, the unit was not move-in ready — there was no water, no working toilets, and no appliances installed. The leasing agent at the time had to leave right before I moved in due to a family emergency. She told me about her nephew being murdered and shared the details. Maintenance gave me a key, and the apartment smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the walls were stained with a brown substance, and there was leftover food in the cabinets that I had to clean myself. I even have video evidence of a maintenance worker smoking inside my unit while doing repairs.
Maintenance brought an unauthorized person, the worker’s brother, to install toilets, ceiling fans, and appliances, which just seems very unprofessional and unsafe.
Even after reporting these issues to management, I received little help. The new leasing agent seemed unaware of my situation and once responded with, “Wow, why didn’t you leave?” despite the thousands I’d already paid in rent and deposits. I was never given any paperwork to document concerns or a gate fob to access amenities, which I also paid for.
The apartment still smells like smoke and my belongings have been damaged as a result. Mold was present when I moved in, and some repairs remain incomplete, like uncovered electrical sockets with exposed wires and clogged shower drains.
Overall, the management has been unresponsive, unprofessional, and dismissive of tenant concerns. If you’re considering moving here, I’d advise you to look elsewhere.

I am a previous resident of 60 at Melrose. From the beginning to the end management has been near impossible to get a hold of. Starting with joining the lease of a current resident, it took roughly two and a half months, almost three before I officially signed any paperwork due to the office hours not being true office hours. Often you will find phones unanswered, call backs non-existent, and emails left with no response, while the office claims to be open with nobody present. This lead to a myriad of issues; paying rent on-time via check being one of the biggest issues. The elevator has been out of order for an extended period of time, with no hopes of being operable ever. The pool is used frequently by vagrants (non-residents) personally seen by myself, as well as posted publicly on other reviews. The final straw being after moving out, multiple attempts were made to reach the front office, and when we finally got a hold of someone we were told they would notify us when our package arrived as we recently moved. Following this phone call, another call was placed a week later in regards to the package, and we were notified because we moved it is not their responsibility. I understand updating mailing addresses via the post office, and reaching out to private delivery companies to update delivery addresses however this would have been done much sooner had the office staff communicated they would be unable to assist in receiving my package and notifying me of it's arrival. The inept communication provided by management leaves much to be desired. I would highly recommend to not rent from this agency, unless you find no need for management to play an active role in residency.

I recently came to check out the apartments a little over 2 weeks ago and let me just say that these apartments are under new management. The new manager presents herself very well, she is friendly, out going and takes her communication skills to a whole new level. During our lease signing we received her response in a timely manner. She’s very aware of the big role she’s stepping into and already making huge changes. She even let us know of upcoming upgrades since we did decide to sign a lease here. While I don’t know what the living experiences are, I know that the character Randi presents us with is very welcoming, loving and caring. I am excited to share my personal experience living here later in the future.

Full disclosure I don't even live at this complex, but I can see this complex from where I live. This review is on their filthy, swamp like pool.
They do not maintain their pool. It's green and filthy most of the time.
They don't seem to know their filter is most likely broken and that you actually have to clean the bottom of the pool, to get all of the scum and algae out. You can't just throw pool algicide in the pool so it isn't green anymore, you still have to clean it.
They should drain it and start over.
I'm sure the people that live here, part of their rent money goes towards maintenance of the pool, but the pool is green, more than it is clean.
UPDATE: The homeless junkie that destroyed this pool the first time came back today. He stuffed something in the filter again. He also proceeded to wash himself, his shoes and his bike in the pool. He put his entire bike in the pool to clean.
We called the office of the apartment to let them know, but they didn't answer
I hope this time the complex drains the pool and scrubs the bottom of the pool to ensure it is clean. The scuzz still remains at the bottom of the pool floor.
