I lived at the Westside from May 2023 to January 2026. I would say that my fiancee and I generally had a good experience until the last 6 mos. that we lived there. The good: - The complex is clean and quiet, and the neighborhood is good, about on par with most of Plano. - Maintenance is usually quick to solve issues that are brought up. The ok: - Office staff is nice. However, once we ran into disputes about the end of our lease, they were rigid and obstructive citing corporate management. Management changed companies twice during our time there. - While maintenance is usually quick, we had an issue with our ceiling being damaged that seemingly just got forgotten about from September 2025 to our move out. The bad: - We had a number of roach sightings, usually baby ones, during our time living here. - The online resident portal is almost useless. We didn't even have our lease uploaded there, and had to contact the office for a copy. - We had a consistent flooding problem near our fireplace, basically any time it rained, which I suspect was caused by poor drainage from the gutter pipe outside. Maintenance fixed it temporarily, but it remained an issue until the end of our lease. - Our unit was flooded during the January 2026 ice storm, after a pipe broke in the vacant 3rd floor unit above us. This ultimately led to the end of our lease. We were told numerous times that we'd have to pay an early termination fee ($2,700!!!), AND wait 60 days to get out of the lease, as if we were trying to break the lease under normal conditions. This is despite the situation being caused by something totally out of our control. We were eventually allowed to leave the lease for a lesser fee, but this two week long dispute, in the middle of an ice storm and while we sorted through our water-damaged apartment, absolutely soured our thoughts on the apartment complex and its management. Overall, I would say that this complex is a fine spot to live, but I can't recommend it after our experience at the end of our tenure.

We had been approved and were supposed to pick up the keys and move in the same day. We called that morning and throughout the afternoon, but the person who was supposed to handle everything wasn’t in the office. Main office and leasing office left several messages. No one else could confirm that we could come pick up the keys. They told us only that specific person could take care of it. We waited all day and received no response or callback. Fortunately, we had also applied somewhere else, were approved there, and were able to move into the new place. For several days, I tried to reach the person in charge, Cecilia. Each time, the main office said they would send her a message and she will call me back, but they never transferred me directly. She never called me back. We lost $270 on this place. At this point, I’m actually grateful it didn’t work out. Asking 4.5 times the monthly rent for early termination suggests that something may not be right there.
