Turi is the sweetest and has been the best to help us with the move in and payment process! I’m so happy we live here now, this is the best complex in SE Portland!

I came to view an apartment and Turi the property manager was amazing! Very personable and welcoming, you can tell she genuinely cares. Definitely want to live in the space as soon as a two bedroom top floor opens up.

The lady who works here is super sweet and considerate of my concerns and the apartments are well kept. I definitely recommended working with them. The process of moving in was super easy and overall a happy experience ☺️ thank you sunshine for making it a bright and warming experience.

Update on this nasty Sunshine apartments. We moved out recently, I previously posted regarding their illegally charging me for floor repairs that were due to defective flooring. Now, I've had time to do some research and see they also charged us and additional $1000 to repaint. This, after living there 5 1/2 years, repainting would be considered normal wear and tear and is NOT chargeable to the tenant! These people are so far into corporate greed, they are acting illegally. I will be taking them to court. Anyone considering moving in Sunshine apartments. Please take my advise. Record every conversation you have with them, or only deal with them in writing so you have a record of what they say. They have no problems lying to you, you need to protect yourself. Better yet, just rent somewhere else. ( but still record all conversations with any landlord, you just cannot trust them). It's soooo disappointing to have to deal with this horrible behavior.

The community is pretty clean and modern. Maintenance and other requests were promptly answered or addressed. I wish parking was more affordable, but it wasn't too difficult to find street parking on the street over. The neighbors were friendly. The view from my apartment was amazing.
