I moved into Merx Slabtown in February 2025, and this is my first time living in Portland. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to call home. I love the location as it’s convenient, close to my job, and makes it easy to explore the city. Any maintenance requests I’ve had have been solved promptly and efficiently.
Management has been great and very friendly since I moved in. There is new management now, and they’ve been very responsive and just as welcoming. I love the views from my apartment, the gym is great, and the community overall feels welcoming and friendly. I’m very happy living here and will most likely be renewing my lease.

I’ve really enjoyed living at the Merx Apartments in Slabtown—it's a modern, stylish building with a great community feel and an unbeatable location. The neighborhood is walkable, lively, and full of great coffee shops, restaurants, and parks, making day-to-day life super convenient. The building itself is clean and well-maintained, with helpful staff and solid amenities that make it feel comfortable and welcoming. The only downside is that it is quite overpriced for the square footage
