Lowkey, I would give this place zero stars if I could lol. It wasn’t bad when I had first moved in, but in the middle of my residency there management was changed and that’s where it literally all went bad. Management never communicates, if you reach out they never respond. Oh, you want safe parking? In a private garage for $175 on top of your rent? Well, I personally wouldn’t pay it. As a matter of fact, your car might even be safer on the street. I paid my monthly dues for a parking space in the LOCKED garage, and my car still got broken into and things were stolen. Management only left me a voicemail and no further action was taken. The walls are EXTREMELY thin, I could hear my neighbors fighting every other day. From all angles! Towards the end of my residency here, they lost power FOR DAYS. All my food went bad, and it was just a mess. From these reviews I’m seeing it’s still an ongoing issue. Maybe things have progressed, but my time there was… questionable towards the end. The only perk was how close I was to my job.

UPDATE: 2/3/26 I really wanted to like this place and give it another chance after all the power outages. I’ve contacted portfolio manager Vanessa about upgrading to a two bedroom and she doesn’t respond to any of my messages or emails. She responded once saying “how can we assist you” and I haven’t heard a word back. I even asked if there’s someone else I can contact, and still crickets. The portal has a “contact us” link, but no one ever responds. If you want to live in a place where people take you seriously, this is not the place for you. I’m so upset. Power is out AGAIN 12/16/25. They replaced the breaker twice in the last month. They’ll slap another breaker in there and call it good until the next time. If you’re moving in soon, maybe check in with the University Place Hotel to see if your power is on. If you love the anxiety of not knowing if your power is going to be on when you get home, then you’re going to love The Woods! Starting November 2025 power went out for almost three days. Fast forward to December and we’re going through it again and no one seems to know why. Someone in the reviews said this place is a “carcass run by vultures”, but in actuality, Vultures serve an important purpose by cleaning up messes, and keeping a balance. Also, getting down the pitch black stair case is a nice touch when you need to leave the building. Shouldn’t there be emergency lights for safety? -Disgruntled
