I’ve had a very frustrating experience living in this building. The management is extremely disorganized—they keep changing managers, and there seems to be little to no communication between them. Rules are constantly being changed without clear notice, which makes it difficult for residents to keep up and creates unnecessary stress.
There are also serious issues with how management handles leases. They do not follow or respect their own contract terms and act as if they can pressure residents and take their money. I informed the previous manager through the building’s portal about my move-out date, and based on that, my lease was updated and signed. Now the new manager is saying the notice must be given “within” 60 days, not earlier, even though the lease clearly says “at least 60 days” and does not limit how early notice can be given. Despite this, they are trying to charge me for days when I am not even living in the unit, which feels like theft. They also do not properly respond to messages or attempt to resolve the issue.
The location is also a major downside. Being so close to the train station, fire department, and University Avenue makes it very noisy at all hours. It’s nearly impossible to keep the windows open because of the constant noise.
Amenities are not well maintained. The pool is often crowded late into the night, with a lot of noise. The gym is very small, poorly ventilated, and either smells bad or is filled with strong artificial fragrances. On top of that, the equipment is outdated and feels unstable.
- Poor management
- Overpriced

The most inconvenient and incompetent management I've ever dealt with. When I first moved in, I had sprained my ankle and the property manager, Elizabeth assigned me the incorrect apartment number on the 2nd floor when I signed the lease on a first floor apartment. Then, she changed my underground parking spot 3 times due to double-booking. I had reported a few things throughout my stay for maintenance to help with and didn't receive a response for weeks. Finally, even after leaving, I still have yet to receive my security deposit, as it's a month late. This is not only disrespectful because they don't return calls or emails, but *illegal* for them to not have even mailed it out after 30 days post move-out. I resorted to visiting 3 times in person over the course of several weeks with Erin McVeigh brushing me off each and every time. I gave a legal demand notice for them to return my security deposit a week ago and their continued incompetence doesn't cease to amaze me.

I’ve lived in this building for about 3 years, and until recently everything was great. I never had any complaints, and maintenance requests were always handled quickly—usually fixed the next day.
Lately, management seems to be changing frequently, and things have slowed down a lot. I’ve had maintenance requests open for over a week with no response or repairs. It’s disappointing to see such a big change compared to how smoothly things used to run.

I’ve had the worst apartment experience of my life here! Don’t move here!
I lived at 200 City View from December 2023 - August 2025. Good luck sleeping here! The road noise is terrible and the management is currently awful. Elizabeth is snarky and awful to deal with. My bike was stolen twice out of the “secured” parking garage despite locking it. Elizabeth’s response was, “well, you shouldn’t leave it in the garage if it’s worth so much”. YOU GUYS DONT HAVE ANY OTHER SOLUTION FOR BIKE PARKING. YOU FINE US IF WE LEAVE OUR BIKES ON OUR BALCONIES. WHERE ELSE AM I GONNA STORE IT, ELIZABETH??
When moving, I asked management for a move out checklist I could follow to get my security deposit back. I followed it exactly and spent 3 full days deep cleaning the apartment and filling nail holes with family and friends, per Elizabeth’s instruction. We performed a move out inspection with Elizabeth who informed us that everything looked great and that there’s nothing more we need to do. The only things we would be charged for was carpet cleaning and leftover utilities.
Fast forward several weeks and we receive a bill of $128 from 200 City View for “replacing carpets, wall repair, paint, and cleaning”. This is on top of our $500 deposit.
I emailed Elizabeth disputing the charges and asked for them to prove what cleaning needed to be performed and which damages they allege we cause beyond normal wear and tear. I never heard back despite countless calls. I waited 4 weeks before I finally got Elizabeth on the phone and she said she was still waiting to hear back from her manager. Fine, I can wait longer. This phone call took place on September 30th.
Fast forward 6 weeks and I finally get Elizabeth on the phone again after several calls and emails from myself. I was told extremely unprofessionally that they were not removing the charges. I asked for further proof that the damages were beyond wear and tear, to which Elizabeth replied, “there were 200 nail holes and the carpets were black”. Odd, you said it was fine upon move out, didn’t you Elizabeth? I asked for photos and she said she’d send them, but that they refused to remove the charges. I mentioned I would pursue legal action if no further proof was provided and hung up.
It was that same day that I found out that City View had sent my bill to collections without notifying me and without proving the charges were from damages beyond normal wear and tear. It was sent in September 23rd, two days BEFORE I called Elizabeth. I’ve paid the stupid bill and moved on because it’s not worth the headache anymore.
Do yourself a favor, and avoid living here. The noise is loud, the management is SCUMMY and Elizabeth is awful. Not worth it.

We have been living at the 200 City View Apartments for the past three to four months and have had a wonderful experience. After selling our home of several years, we were initially hesitant about moving back into an apartment, but 200 City View quickly exceeded our expectations.
The complex is located in a vibrant, enjoyable part of town, and James along with the rest of the staff have been outstanding — always going above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and supported.
We truly enjoy living here and would highly recommend 200 City View Apartments to anyone.

This apartment had CLEARLY no preparation or cleaning for my wife and I to move in. We paid the Admin fee, as well as a full deposit for the apartment to be move-in ready. The carpets in BOTH bedrooms had disgusting stains of an origin we don’t even know. The master bath had hair (not from the head either,) all over the drawers and unknown fluids/stains. Not to mention a huge bike rack bolted into the wall as soon as we opened the front door?! What’s more, the apartment should have been completely disinfected due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This place is a disaster. We have tried to reach out to management with no response.
