I am a co-signer for my college student and live out-of-state. Their customer service is excellent, the online portal has more than enough info. I was able to set-up rent payments on autopay and it even shows a detailed breakdown of the utilities so I know exactly what I'm paying for. The place is clean and well taken care of and the staff responds in a timely manner. They also provide regular updates (emailed) which helps me stay informed of activities, updates, or reminders. My daughter loves it and was paired with roommates whom have become great friends. This is a great place to work with for out-of-town parent cosigners as well as for college kids looking for a safe and comfortable place to live.

The shuttle is annoying, it is so small and gets full so easily, people get late to class because of that it’s annoying like get ANOTHER one! They are not clear in communicating with their residents about anything pertaining the lease and they always add some unnecessary additional fees which sometimes they give no choice but to pay. The WiFi is also fluctuating.
The say they listen to residents but their solution to someone complaining the “shuttle is too full” is by keeping people off the bus anything but getting another one leaving people to waiting for the shuttle to come back that is going to take another ridiculous 30 minutes.
Honestly, I only renew my lease because I don’t want to have to move but they need to change the way they go about things and treat their residents. They charged my last roommate $150 because there was supposed a roll of toilet paper left in the room after they moved out.

The BEST neighborhood for WSU students to live!!! Literally the best floor plan with good offer. The employees here are supportive and very friendly. Sadly, there is no apartment like this in Seattle or i definitely would like to keep living with the Retreat LOL!

The walk-in was so cool and my questions were answered. They were warm and friendly. If you're considering a place which has a touch of luxury, is affordable and flexible, close to campus, a place you can call home away from home in this pandemic (if safety's your concern), plus been pet-friendly then look no further. The retreat is really a get-away from the stress and duress of academics (online or in-class). Check them out and they can help you decide!
