I moved in this month and love it here. There are no surprises with rent and utilities stay cheap. Everybody is also super friendly!

Ignore all good reviews, ownership and management has changed and completely abandoned the place. Complex is disgusting. There is no actual management or maintenance team. My apartment was not in living condition when I moved in, and nothing has been done to fix it in the 4 months I've lived here. I highly recommend living anywhere else, the low rent is not worth the utter disgust of this place and the neglect from ownership.

The owning company and management have saved money by getting rid of all staff. There is no one physically at the property to help with anything.
I had an issue and spoke with an employee who was filling in from Aspen Heights, and his response was, "I don't actually work at this property. I'm only here until Friday."
There is trash all over the property. I've added just a few pictures of what I saw in doing a single pass around the property.
Nothing is maintained anymore. The place is falling apart really fast. If anything in your apartment breaks, good luck - there isn't a single staff member to help you out. Check out the deck supports in the pictures.
Hopefully you're not placed next to the empty apartment which is backing up with sewage constantly. I can only imagine the pests in that area of the building.
If you are given a name for someone to talk to, it's Brandon from Cardinal's higher office. I tried reaching out to him for weeks with no response. One time I was lucky enough to catch him in person at another property Timberline, and I asked him for someone else to talk to that would be available. His response was, "No, you will talk to me." It's been a couple of weeks since then, and I still have received no response to my emails.
All this has upset the management company, which then deleted my lease contract from their system and told me I was there illegally. It's a good thing I've kept records, and I suggest anyone unfortunate enough to rent here to do the same.

The the upside of living here was for the price the rooms were really big. But the downsides did out way that. The first month we moved in there were cockroaches and after asking multiple times it didn't even get looked at until right before winter break. At that same time two of our bedrooms flooded while on Thanksgiving break and Winter break when no one was in the apartment so a lot of our pillows or carpet we had in the room had to be thrown away. There was a problem with the draining system outside and tried fixing it the first time and then it flooded again so they had to manually fix it every day. We were told for there to be a permanent fix they would have to rip up the floors, therefore we would have to move in the spring and sign a new lease. We asked if we could then move to a different place because we were still having cockroach problems at this point in January. Then all of a sudden we didn't have to move in the spring because we brought that up. If we had a package we had to wait outside the office because most of the time no one was in the office because they were doing maintenance orders or something. The management's cat that roams around would also attack our window and body slam itself against the window trying to attack our cats inside, when we brought it up nothing was addressed and just said that they just get a little territorial. The cat would also try to sneak into our apartment which wouldn't be as big of deal if it weren't for the fact that this cat would actively try to attack our cats. If you don't mind these kind of problems then I say go for it because the rooms are pretty big, but was just not worth it for us.

Had to take this apartment to court because they refused to give me over $1,000 of my security deposit back, I won over $2,000 in court and they still haven’t paid it. We moved in and it was infested with bugs, dead roaches in the oven and shower, mold in the apartments and when asked if they would fix it, they never responded. They entered our apartment without giving notice and damaged multiple things inside of the apartment while we were not home. I added a couple pictures of the apartment, but this is nothing near what I had to experience at this apartment. Management is extremely rude and did not know how to run the apartments. It is a major issue here. I met several people who lived in these apartments and not one person enjoyed it, these 5 star reviews are not true. I wish I could give them less than 1 star, just want to warn anyone who thinks they might want to live here. The same management that worked there while I lived there, is there. There is trash scattered at all times, they claim they are animal friendly but while I was walking my ESA animal to my car, she stepped on loose glass on the sidewalk and in the parking lot, her paw started bleeding and she was limping.
