TL;DR: This complex is unsafe, dirty, and horribly managed. Expect shootings, car thefts, overflowing trash, mold, broken appliances, surprise water shut-offs, and zero accountability from staff. Living here has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in an apartment complex. If you are considering moving here, please think twice.
Safety 🔫: This place is extremely unsafe. There have been multiple shootings with semi-automatic and even fully automatic weapons inside the complex. Bullet casings have been found on the sidewalks and parking lots. Our own truck was stolen from the property and never recovered. Neighbors (including us) have installed security cameras just to feel somewhat safe, and the footage often shows people going car to car testing doors in broad daylight. Nights are even worse. Despite being charged extra every month for a “security patrol,” we rarely see the officer, and crime continues without slowing down.
Noise & Neighbors💥🍁: Loud music blasting until midnight is a common occurrence. It’s nearly impossible to get a peaceful night’s sleep. People openly drink, smoke, and deal drugs in the parking lots. Marijuana smell and late-night parties are a regular part of life here.
Parking 🚫🅿️: After 7 pm, finding a parking spot is nearly impossible. Many residents take up multiple spots and the management does nothing to enforce rules.
Maintenance & Management 🤥: The leasing office staff are unprofessional, unhelpful, and dishonest. They promise repairs but never follow through. For over 5 years, we’ve dealt with a faulty stove that shorts out, smokes, and stops working. Instead of replacing it, maintenance does quick patch jobs to avoid spending money. Appliances are all outdated and inefficient.
Water & Mold Issues 🚽💧: Water gets shut off at least twice a month with no notice. Our unit has had water leaks from the bathroom ceiling for months, causing mold growth. Instead of fixing the leak, maintenance just paints over the mold. This is a serious health hazard they completely ignore.
Trash & Pests 🪳🐀: The dumpsters are constantly overflowing, with garbage piled up in the parking lot (see attached photos). The smell is awful, and dumpster juices flow into the lot. This has led to rats, roaches, and other pests. Despite this, we’re charged a pest control fee, but no actual pest control service is ever performed.
Disrespect from Maintenance 😡👷: When upstairs neighbors moved out, maintenance dumped leftover food (turkey legs, potatoes, vegetables) from their unit right at our front door before the new tenants moved in. This shows how careless and unprofessional they truly are.
This apartment complex is unsafe, unsanitary, and poorly managed. Between the crime, mold, broken appliances, overflowing trash, and constant lies from the office staff, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the stress, money, and danger—look elsewhere.
