That apartment has been really delightful. We stayed here for over 2 years and we really like the apartment. The surrounding is clean and nice.
One place to improve is the maintenance. Some times the management is unresponsive and slow.

I had the pleasure of touring Sync CityLine Apartments in Richardson and wanted to specifically recognize Jalen for the outstanding experience he provided. From the moment I arrived, he was professional, respectful, and incredibly attentive.
What stood out most was his attitude. He showed me around the entire complex on a very rainy day in pretty uncomfortable conditions, yet he handled everything with enthusiasm and genuine eagerness to help. Not once did he seem inconvenienced. Instead, he was patient, knowledgeable, and thorough in answering all of my questions.
Although I ultimately decided that the city of Richardson is probably a bit farther than I’d prefer personally, there is no doubt in my mind that if I lived even 10 miles closer, Sync CityLine would absolutely be my residential area of choice — largely because of the impression Jalen made.
He is a remarkable young man, extremely professional, and someone the complex is truly lucky to have representing them. I was very impressed.

Sync CityLine looks nice on the surface but the management experience was frustrating. Communication was poor, issues dragged out, and getting straightforward answers required repeated follow ups. The move out process and charges felt unnecessarily difficult and lacked transparency.
The gates malfunction regularly. One incident with the entrance gate caused damage to my car. Management stopped responding when I asked for clarification on the process and next steps. I ultimately had to file through my own insurance, and they would not provide the security footage.
The AC went out and the repair was delayed. Our toilet also leaked for a while and maintenance was slow to fix it, which spiked our water bill by roughly $100. When we brought that up, management only agreed to address the charge if we signed something stating we wouldn’t leave negative reviews.
I would not lease here again.

Our experience with SYNC CityLine has been extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, our apartment was not ready: it was dirty, trash from the previous tenants sat in our unit, the doors couldn’t lock, and we didn’t receive working keys until days after our scheduled move-in, delaying our ability to settle in. Multiple keys, including gate/amenity access, were distributed inconsistently over the next week despite repeated follow-ups.
Upon move-in, we also discovered a serious mold issue around the AC vents and closet wall. We reported it immediately, yet no solution or inspection was offered until late December, nearly two months later. In the meantime, we had to take matters into our own hands to ensure our unit was safe and habitable.
The apartment also had a severe cockroach infestation. While pest control did eventually visit multiple times, the management team provided conflicting information and inconsistent updates. Even after treatment, we still see occasional roaches in the unit, indicating the issue is ongoing.
In addition, our apartment had numerous maintenance and condition issues (cabinet damage, door problems, stains, ceiling damage, and more) that were documented in writing before move-in. Many items were marked “completed” in the system when nothing had been done, and some requests were only fulfilled after repeated emails and a visit from the City of Richardson city inspection.
Communication from management has been slow, inconsistent, and often contradictory. Staff sometimes told us to submit concerns via email, other times through the portal, and different staff members gave different answers to the same questions.
Compensation for these issues was offered prior to resolving the concerns and only if we signed a release of claims and agreed not to post negative reviews, which felt inappropriate and dismissive of our legitimate concerns.
While individual staff members were polite and helpful, the overall management process — organization, accountability, and responsiveness — has been extremely poor. I would not recommend this community unless you are prepared for significant delays, ongoing pest problems, and inconsistent communication.
My wife and I lived in Axis 110 (the next building over) for a couple of years prior to SYNC, and we had very few issues under their management. If you asked my subjective opinion, I would advise you to prioritize their property over this one.

The sync team was great! Matt gave a wonderful tour, and Jaylen was very helpful in answering all my questions. I'm only giving four stars because there are a couple of drawers with peeling laminate, and I'm unsure if they can be repaired. Otherwise, my apartment is spacious and gorgeous, and the neighborhood is quiet.
