I lived at Ravello for 8 years (2014 - 2022) and overall had a very positive experience. When I first moved in I was looking for a place that was quiet, peaceful, friendly, safe, affordable, and conveniently located. Ravello checked all the boxes back then and it still checked all of the boxes when I moved out. The first thing you'll notice about Ravello is the beautiful landscaping, tall redwood trees, and cleanliness of the grounds. It really is a diamond in the rough, considering the surrounding area leaves much to be desired. But within this gated community, and I do mean gated because the gates are actually closed unlike many other apartment complexes, it is very well-kept and walkable. The residents are friendly and respectful, with very few exceptions. There is a pool, spa, and BBQ that residents use from time to time, but it doesn't tend to get crowded to where it becomes a nuisance. Since the community is on the smaller side with 60 units, there is not a whole lot of activity or cars going in and out that would otherwise cause commotion or annoyance. The community feels safe and secure and outsiders stand out if they manage to wander in through a gate. Although homeless are in the immediate area outside the gates, I rarely have seen them rummaging through the trash thanks to the gates always being closed. Over the years there have been 3 different managers, all of whom have been great, but the last manager Daniel is really the best you could ask for. He responds quickly to your requests or concerns and you can tell he actually cares about them. He goes the extra mile to ensure residents' needs are taken care of. He personally handles maintenance requests and is very skilled so the job is done right. He also implements much needed improvements to the grounds, like expanding the paved areas to add parking capacity. He is very reasonable too, as he gave me my full deposit back even though after 8 years my unit was certainly not in the best condition, and he told me I didn't even need to worry about having the carpets cleaned! Simply put, Daniel is awesome. Overall I feel that this is a great place to live in Arden. If you're looking for a smaller quieter community that is pleasing to the eye and cared for by a respectable and hard working manager, then you won't go wrong with Ravello.

We've been at Ravello for several years now and have really enjoyed the experience. All of the management throughout the years have been great, and the current management is no exception. Issues are resolved in a friendly manner and timely fashion. The complex is quiet and clean, and improvements occur reasonably frequently. The parking situation--although still not the best--has been greatly improved. A substantial project was completed recently that added almost 10 spots, making things much better in that aspect in most situations (when more guests than usual are here it gets harder, but it is what it is). And unfortunately there is no EV charging--if your parking spot is not right next to your apartment charging is not an option. I hope this changes soon though! Overall, Ravello has been a rather pleasant place to call home for the past years and look forward to it getting even better with upcoming improvements!
