O stars honestly. I lived at this property for three years, and it was one of the most frustrating and disappointing places ive lived. If you want a quiet morning or to simply sleep in and enjoy a nice relaxing day, you better say goodbye to that The living environment itself was chaotic: * . There were kids getting held at gunpoint * Loud music blaring at at all hours * Frequent fights and police presence * . Excessive theft * Car alarms * Drug-related incidents including the DEA and FBI showing up * Cars being set on fire * Cigarette Smoke constantly entering units from neighbors * Pet waste left around the property * Homeless encampment activity around the complex, more so in their cars. The most consistent issue was management - specifically Gia, amongst other reasons, she should honestly not be working there for her inability to handle simple tasks, communicate and just simply do her job. Any time a concern was brought to the office (mostly Gia) I would be blamed and met with extra BS that did not help anything instead of being met with basic professionalism ("I'm sorry that happened, let's resolve this"), the response was often deflection or subtle blame placed back on the tenant. It never felt solution-oriented. If you value peace and safety, this is not it. Ive never had the misfortune of living around such an excessive amount of jack-wagons in my life until I moved here. Maintenance was another major concern. I experienced ongoing plumbing issues and electrical problems that should not exist in units at this price point. These units are a walking fire hazard. There were also signs of black mold, which is especially concerning. Issues like that should be handled immediately and transparently - not minimized. I really wish I could say this place is the bare minimum but I cant. After three years, I was relieved to leave. If you're looking for a quiet, professionally managed, and well-maintained community, you better start looking elsewhere 😆

If you like roaches and corrupt book keeping move there at your own risk. the staff is terrible they think it's la Jolla raising the rent every six months. 2700 for 700sq ft ridiculous they nickle and dime you telling you that you owe money for whatever reason they come up with stray cats everywhere car break-ins and they can't do anything but raise your rent when you bring it to there attention‼️👎👎👎👎👎👎

I had a few questions and called several times after their lunch hour. I asked the gal that finally answered if the complex was fully rented to explain why she didn't answer the phone. She said they could have been out showing a property. I said, "right after lunch"? She tried to defend herself. They should just change the message to say out from noon to 1:14pm. Not a stellar staff.

I lived at Lantana Hills for a bit and like any apartment, there are some pros and cons. First thing you gotta know is these apartments aren’t brand new. They’ve got some years on them, so if you’re expecting marble countertops and smart home gadgets, this probably isn’t it. But honestly, for being older, they’re pretty dang solid. What really stood out to me is the main manager in the leasing office. She’s always been super kind and respectful. Even when I was going through some tough stuff, she worked with me and never made things harder than they needed to be. Every time I see her, she’s got a smile and a good attitude. No drama, just cool energy. Now, there aren’t washers and dryers inside the units, which isn’t ideal, but they recently upgraded the community laundry rooms. These new machines are actually really nice, and the prices don’t make you feel like you’re doing laundry at a Vegas casino. Maintenance has also been on point. Every time I put in a work order, they show up fast, fix the problem, and the crew is always polite. I’ve never had one of those ghost ticket situations where you wait forever and hear crickets. They’ve also been slowly upgrading the property. I just got some fancy artificial grass in front of my building, and I didn’t even have to water it. It’s little stuff like that that shows they’re making an effort to improve things. There are two pools, which I do use, and a small dog area that works for quick potty breaks. I don’t really use the other amenities, but they’re there if you’re into that kind of thing. At the end of the day, this place is simple and works. They don’t bug you if you handle your business, and they fix what’s broken. That’s all I really want in apartment living.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Lantana Hills sucks. The mangers and people at the office are suck at communicating. My apartment flooded not once, but TWICE in a year span from water heaters that were way past needing to be replaced. I was kicked out for 2 full weeks, and they did nothing to accommodate me and my roommate. Has to be mold in the walls and under the floor from the flooding. Lots of police activity, felt unsafe at times. STAY AWAY from this awful place.
