This is a really lovely place to live. It is relaxed and comfortable. The neighbors are kind and things are well maintained. There is a pool that is nice but can only be used in summer (it should be heated so it can be used year-round). There is a hot tub. There is a gas fire pit. There is new furniture for the residents by the fire. The dry sauna does not work but I wish it did. There is a little gym. Some units have a washer/dryer and there are also on-site laundry facilities. Residents only get one parking space and if you park in a wrong space, you will be aggressively towed (I saw it happen on Christmas - yikes)! Friends can park around the corner on the street but it's a bit of a hike to do so. There is currently a lot of construction going on Mission Gorge Road so take that into account when timing travel. The management is really good and responsive. There are definitely issues since it's an old building (there is asbestos in the ceilings, and lots of cracks in parts of the sidewalks and people's balconies, etc.) but if you need something handled, Harmoni and Giovanni are awesome! This is a very pet and family friendly place which we love! The landscaping is also beautiful with jasmine and well developed trees throughout. There is even a fruiting guava which is abundant and delicious. It is not swanky, but it is cozy. I think rent should be a bit more affordable, but overall it's okay. There are a lot of stairs and certain areas don't seem fully ADA compliant but maybe it's because the space is older. Overall, this is a good place to live and the management and neighbors are really great!

I LOVE my apartment and the area HOWEVER there’s a few flaws. People walk their dogs without a leash often and mine has been attacked, there’s no guest parking and some cars get towed while others get multiple warnings so policies don’t seem to be enforced fairly, the plumbing is always down, and the property management won’t answer your texts if you reach out. Just little things I wish I knew before moving in.

Small complex , Bald Maintenance guy walks around mad dawging. Pipe broke above shower, got mold, told them and they told me just to keep my bathroom door open and it will go away, never did. Lived months with mold in the bathroom because of lack of Maintenance Technician experience. Also they will take most of your security deposit to repaint kitchen cabinets that were super crappy in the first place, with trash left from previous tenants. If a light bulb is burnt out they will buy a whole new light fixture and charge you. Absolutely criminal landlords/Maintenance guys.

We just moved in so can't speak to how actually living here is, but the unit is very nice, and Harmoni at the front desk really went above and beyond the call of duty to help make our move-in experience as smooth as possible. We hit a bunch of bumps along the way and she did everything possible to resolve the issues and facilitate our move.

We have been living in the complex towards our fifth year and I really love this place and area. First, I feel safe here , not only inside the community but also outside. Its quiet and most of the tenants as far as I know are calm people. I have been walking my dogs(before) dog even at night (8:30pm) and I don’t feel scared at all. I like smaller community because that means not a lot of guests/visitors coming in and out. The surroundings are neat and clean . Thanks to our maintenance manager, Enrique for keeping it well and being attentive also to our requests. We live in a two bedroom apartments with two bathrooms and I consider it spacious enough. We hardly had any maintenance problems. I consider the price of our unit reasonable. I have some blessings during our stay in this apartment. I will surely miss the trails just in front of our complex and the canyons and Cowles mountains when we decide to leave. I believe that the management of this complex deserve to be acknowledged for their good work. I hope they won’t raise the price of the units.
