DO NOT MOVE HERE!
The lack of attention to literally any issue by management is horrible. They sell this place as a great living environment but it is not. There is homeless constantly on the property and inside the building. This is primarily due to the lack of security, plus management not repairing locking mechanisms on door and allows unwanted access to homeless. Plus they never mention that the building next to you is all section 8 housing. When you submit a repair request for an amenity it gets brushed off and ignored, and will list it as fixed, even though it hasn’t been repaired. Can’t forget the amount of packages that are stolen, even though we have a mailroom. There is a security camera, but the only way to gain access to the recordings is if you file a police report and have the police department request the footage. Management’s resolution to this is for you to pay for a P.O. Box. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience living at this apartment community. When I first moved in, I genuinely loved the apartment itself and have always paid my rent on time. Unfortunately, the biggest issue has been the lack of security and management response when serious safety concerns arose.
Facebook community page that the second and third floor storage areas had been broken into. That same day, my partner spoke with the leasing office. At that time, management had not filed a police report, no clear action plan was communicated, and the storage gate remained unsecured. We specifically expressed concern because the break-in occurred on our floor and asked for temporary security measures. We were told management was “looking into new doors,” but nothing was done immediately to secure the area.
Just days later, our storage unit was also broken into, resulting in thousands of dollars in stolen personal belongings. It was extremely upsetting and stressful for our family. What was even more frustrating was that it took my partner returning to the office a second time and strongly escalating the situation before management finally took action to temporarily secure the storage area.
Residents deserve to feel safe in their homes, and unfortunately, we have not consistently felt that level of security here. Communication and proactive prevention measures have been lacking FOR A LONG TIME!
I would also strongly encourage anyone considering this community to look beyond online ratings. THERE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE TO OFFSET TERRIBLE RATING.
I recommend visiting the property without an appointment, walking the grounds including common areas like the dog park and speaking directly with current residents about their experiences. I personally wish I had done that before moving here.

DO NOT MOVE HERE.
I do not feel safe living in this building, and management’s negligence has made that painfully clear.
The parking garage door has been broken for an extended period of time (6+ months) and management/owners have failed to fix it or take proper security measures. As a result, the parking garage was broken into and our storage unit was robbed. Our expensive cycling bikes were stolen—something that could have been completely avoided if management had communicated with residents after the first break-in.
We only found out our storage unit had been broken into A WEEK LATER because we noticed our storage door was suddenly chained shut. When we went to the leasing office to ask what happened, we were casually told, “Oh yes, we’ve had break-ins since last week. Floor 2 was hit last week and floor 3 this week.’ Excuse me? No email. No call. No notice. No warning to residents to protect their belongings???!
Absolutely unbelievable. To make matters worse, we had to wait four days to speak with a manager, who simply told us, “Sorry, we’re aware we dropped the ball on this issue.” That was it. No accountability. No resolution. No urgency.
Despite their negligence directly contributing to the theft, they refused to allow us to break our lease without paying our way out. I understand we signed a leasing contract, but if you’re negligence is causing such consequential issues then do something to fix these issues, because a casual “we are aware we dropped the ball” does not suffice.
Beyond the safety issues, the building smells awful on a regular basis, dog pee and pee stains everywhere, one of the elevators is always broken, parking garage stairwells smell strongly of human urine and unhoused individuals have been found living in storage units!!!!
Management lacks communication, accountability, and basic concern for resident safety. This situation was handled poorly from start to finish, their employees are very rude, this place is always under new management and we are now stuck in a lease we do not feel safe honoring.
If you value security, cleanliness, or transparent management, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Living at Vora Mission Valley has been easy going! The community is beautifully designed and really feels like luxury living. I love the walk in closets, attached to the bathroom. The pool area is one of the best, you get a lot of sun, and they have enough lounge chairs to layout in, perfect for relaxing or getting some sun on the weekends. There’s also a well-kept dog park that my pup absolutely loves. The location couldn’t be more convenient right by the 8, 805, and 15 freeways, and just minutes from Snapdragon Stadium. Whether you’re catching a game or commuting around San Diego, it’s super easy. Definitely one of the top places to live in Mission Gorge Neighborhood.
The neighborhood is definitely still up and coming and have some nuances, like some homeless, but every neighborhood in SD does. Nothing you can do about it. Management does attempt with sending communication every month as best they can. Overall I’m satisfied with my residence.

I toured with Michael and he was gracious to give me a tour as a walk-in. I am moving back to San Diego and looking for my next home. The property was gorgeous and Michael was so kind and attentive to all of my must haves I'm looking for in my new home. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me and walk me through the leasing process. I have a few more tours lined up but Vora and Michaels generosity have made an impact. While on our tour Michael introduced me to Connie his assistant and Frank in maintenance. I'm not used to meeting people on the team before I move in but I'm looking forward to hopefully securing a home soon and getting to know everyone.
