I have lived at Dexter Lake Union for just shy of 3 years, and I could recount quite a few issues here (my apartment literally flooding from the sprinkler system and them not fixing it for nearly a month, my toilet constantly not working for no apparent reason, the apartment fighting me on a unit transfer they had previously promised, the fire alarm recently running for 2 hours straight no exaggeration, etc). Beyond that though, is the biggest issue - the lack of functioning elevators. If you struggle even a tiny bit with stairs, DO NOT MOVE TO THE 9TH OR 10TH FLOOR HERE! This building will not guarantee an elevator to these floors (you can only access these floors via 2/4 elevators), and does not view it as an emergency when both of them are down. We have only had one consistently working elevator for months now (since September to be exact), and the highest floor it goes to is 8. It has been a very painful experience dealing with this, and I hope I can prevent someone else from going through this same issue. The location is great but beware of the inbound inconveniences.
