the only thing that makes living here worth it is *Megan and the other property management people! They are responsive and they are kind.
They want to get rid of the only good side about living here.. I will not renew my lease!
They will most likely try to use A.I or some B.S like that.. just another slap in the face to tenants..

Since our new property manager Megan has taken over things have been 100% different. She is transparent. Makes sure to stay in touch with the status of work orders, she watches for any kind of theft and is super responsive. As long as she is our property manager I would 100% recommend Novo.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a nightmare.
MANAGEMENT IS AWFUL: They are impossible to deal with. They ignore emails and flat-out lie or go back on their word. They clearly don't care about their tenants.
SCAM UTILITY BILLS: Be prepared for random, sky-high charges for water and power. They use shared meters, so you get stuck with unpredictable bills and overcharge for trash. Zero transparency on utility costs.
UNSANITARY LIVING: The apartments have zero ventilation or AC. The entire building constantly stinks of curry and fried fish. The odor is trapped and inescapable.
SECURITY RISK: If you order anything online, say goodbye to it. Packages are almost always stolen. Management has done nothing to fix the persistent theft problem.
DO NOT RENT HERE. You will be overcharged, ignored, and live in a stinky, insecure building. You've been warned.

I hated this apartment! What an awful place to live. The property management is absent at best, completely negligent and malicious at worst. The common areas always have a stench of rot and garbage, even on the rare occasions they are clean. The apartment itself is awful—cheap everything, thin walls, doors that don’t even close. There are constant hidden or excessive fees. For the price you end up paying (which will be much, much more than planned), there are MUCH better options available.

I didn’t get my security deposit back even through I only lived there for three months and left the apartment in the same condition I got it in.
It seems like they use the rest of security deposit for your utility charges and whatever is remaining after they will come up with a random charge so they don’t have to return any money to you.
Unfortunately they charged me for stuff I definitely didn’t do during my stay. I was only there for three months and had barely any furniture as I sent them pictures of all the issues in the studio and they’re was many scratches and paint issues before I moved in but the issue is you won’t even be able to notice all of them when you move in within that 72 move in period.
Packages got stolen, there is a horrible smell in the building, and people always smoke.
It’s not even that cheap for you to be dealing with all that.
Do yourself a favor and find a different place. I considered taking them to small claims court, but instead I’m just going to report to SDCI.
