This is my second year at Tellus and I have also stayed at a sister property. The team is very helpful and friendly. The building is always clean and well-maintained and I always get quick responses when I need something in my apartment to be fixed. Great neighbours, location and units that are well-lit and ventilated.

The apartment itself is great, spacious, modern and all in good condition.
The property manager and team are great, they often come in to fix things within days if anything comes up and maintain the property well! This was the best building out of 5 that I toured in the area. No extraneous amenities that you have to pay for and best of all, it doesn't have weird smells that the other ones did.

I just moved out after living here for 2 years. Just want to say that Jason and his team are rockstars. I was moving from California so I wasn’t able to do any in person tours. Not only did they facetime me to show me multiple apartments, they were able to send me videos right after to help me decide on a unit. I was able to sign papers remotely and just pack up my car and drive up to Seattle.
Yes the units are smaller but the prices are so much more affordable for the location. The appliances are also new and work really well. I moved into a “nicer” building but I still prefer my appliances at Tellus. While there is no FOB on the elevators, I never felt unsafe in the building and everyone was super friendly. Any issues with packages or safety was addressed immediately by Jason and his team. The maintenance team was also super on top of getting things cleaned and fixed right away! And they are always so friendly!
My only complaint would be that I was facing an alley so I can hear the garbage/recycling trucks pretty early in the morning. But considering this building is in the city, noise is common and your going to get that at any apartment.

I’ve lived here for almost 4 years since 2021. If you work at a nearby Amazon building downtown, then this is a really great location for you to walk to work. There are multiple bus stops right in front of the building, so easy to get around without a car. The units are nice and clean and I especially liked the rooftop with the view of the needle around sunset. I’ve had many positive experience with the current leasing and maintenance team and had no issues. They are very responsive and takes care of the building well.

We chose to sign a lease with this apt during Covid without knowing the area and were nervous when we got here, but so far it's been a surprisingly pleasant and safe experience.
PROS:
- It's safe and clean both in the apartment and the street it's located in. We were worried of our car getting broken in (as in reviews at nearby apartments), but so far our car has been safe. The garage parking access is controlled and walking to the elevator feels very safe. The common areas are brightly lit and kept clean; we saw a puddle once in the elevator and less than an hour later it was gone.
- Inside the apartment, it's actually quiet and well-designed. If you care about details and design, you'd notice some places masquerading cheap stuff with high quality name (e.g. "hardwood-style" flooring and similar BS). We can feel and see that they actually pay attention to the details here in interior design: big windows that light up the apartment, hardwood floor, and thick walls that block out most of our neighbor noises.
- But Neighbors are overall quiet, very rarely do we hear some dog sounds. It could be the walls are thicker here but I don't hear yelling or smell smoking like at other apartments I've lived in.
- Friendly and responsive property manager and maintenance. We've had a few requests for the short time we've lived here, and everything was accommodated very quickly.
- There's a cute deli shop downstairs that sells pretty good sandwiches (with reward stamp card) and other necessities that you can get without walking/driving anywhere.
- This is probably not applicable during Covid time but it's pretty close to tech offices, so if you're in tech it's pretty convenient location to walk or bike to work.
CONS:
- Packages being stolen or lost: This was a concern for us as well, but we personally weren't affected by it. Honestly, ever since we moved in, we've seen lots of packages left in the package room for a week or two untouched, so we didn't know it was a huge problem until we saw the notice. Also it seems management acted on it and a new delivery system is in place now. Hopefully this gets better.
- Sometimes you can hear the faint sound of traffic. Also if you happen to live near the back alley where the trucks come by twice a week or when some random couple on the street scream at each other, it'd be a bit noisy even with the windows closed. However, it's only for a short time and not that disruptive to our sleep and work. Maybe it just comes with living in the city.
OVERALL: Recommend if you want a safe, clean, and overall a quiet place that's close to offices. Would not recommend if you're super sensitive to sounds.
