Been living here for the past 6 months, absolutely horrible experience. There are so many cons to living here: 1) Biggest issues are deliveries, no dedicated place for packages. Courier/ delivery partners cannot enter your building. They might leave it at the leasing office but only from 10am to 6pm on Monday to Friday. If it arrives any other time, 99% your mail is getting lost or returned to sender. If you use food delivery apps, you have to walk down your building for every single time. 2) Water is stopped randomly and you'll get notified last minute, if water stops at 9am, you'll get an email at 8:55am stating "urgent" repair, I've have 4 water cuts for 3+ hours in the last 2 weeks in a similar manner. So if you have classes scheduled or work scheduled, all the best. 3) There are no financial or general managers on the property that can help you if you have any issues or discrepancies about rent. You'll run around in circles and NEVER get any resolutions to your issues. I prepaid my 1.5 months of rent as I did not have a guarantor. Even after mailing the property multiple times, I had to again pay the complete rent for the prepaid months. NO resolution provided till now. The staff will just tell you that we cannot do anything and we will have to talk to "Corporate" in Chicago. There is no way to verify if they are doing anything, no callbacks, no response to any emails. Also, you cannot contact the "Corporate" office by any means, just have to go through the Local Team, which as I said earlier, is like talking to a wall. 4) Extremely horrifying support - You write 1 or 100 emails to the local support and management team at Alight Tempe and you will get 0 responses. They are really consistent at ignoring all your mails. 5) Random lock changes - They will randomly change the locks up your building's enterance without telling you anything at all. No notifications, no emails, randomly changed the lock to my building. Had to use pool entrance for 4 weeks. 6) Internet speed sucks, it's really bad. At times, it'll go as low as 5mbps or it will stop working all together. Even if you talk to the service provider, you can't get the issues resolved and the local management team is as unhelpful as ever. After all this, the ONLY single positive thing about living here is that the maintenance team is prompt and try to fix issues as soon as they can, because they are not managed by the Local Team at Alight Tempe.
