I'm surprised this 2 stars review didn't bring the average up. If you're an ASU student make sure to not sleep in for the on campus housing portal opening or else you'll end up here. For a place called Gateway it's awful easy for non residents to get in. Apparently broken scooters are a hot commodity around here because that plus my bike got stolen. And somehow they don't have cameras installed (except in the parking lot). The gym is the best part about the place. 2 barbells, dumbbells up to 80lbs, every basic machine you need. Everything else closes at 9pm, which means the hot tub is useless even the 25% of the time it's working. Grills are great. Maintenance is understaffed so it's inconsistent but the 1 or 2 guys we encountered were good dudes. The apartments themselves are about as low quality as it gets, terrible laminate countertops, easy to break the doors, everything chips etc etc, but maintenance is willing to fix it and despite a couple things being broken I got most of my security deposit back. Roommate crashed out at the end of the year because of stuff in the common area. Most of the staff were really nice helpful and whatnot, didn't go to a lot of the events they held but you could tell they put in the effort. Their internet provider is terrible. It went out for a couple days during finals. But instead of fixing that they spent the money to install cameras in the parking lot so we can charge dudes $50 to park for a few hours. Outside of all that it's pretty good
