So far living here has been amazing. the free shuttle is so useful getting to campus and the walk in closet is definitely a perk! The front desk associates are so wonderful especially Zach who has helped me out so much with all my questions!!

The rent at SoL is a good price for any college student compared to nearby apartments. The amenities are good and this was my first time choosing a place to live in off campus as an ASU student and I believe it was a good choice. I had issues that were sorted before I moved here and the staff replies back immediately. Have already recommended Sol to my friends!

This is the first apartment I’ve ever been in, and honestly I’ve got nothing to complain about! Staff is super friendly at all times, pool is super refreshing, the gym is awesome, what more could you ask for? I highly recommend renting with Sol, especially if this is your first time renting! Rates are super competitive compared to others around the area as well!!!

This is my first year living at Sol apartments, and Overall everything is good in my opinion. My living space is everything any concerns I have they are always meet, any misunderstandings the leasing office makes sure it’s a priority to help fix that. Anything effected outside of the complex is simply due to poor residency and that’s not really Sol’s fault, they try their very best to keep everything internally clean and presentable. I recently resigned my lease for next year. Definitely recommend Sol:)

This apartment complex is by FAR the WORST ive ever stayed in. Upon arriving MULTIPLE things were broken and paint was all over the carpet and counters. The apartment was disgusting the first day of move in. Floors were obviously not cleaned, bathroom was DISGUSTING, none of the drawers were wiped out and had literal CHUNKS of junk in them. There are multiple holes in the carpet in the bedrooms that are super noticeable. The dishwasher smelled like something died in there when it was quote on quote “refurbished” doesn’t even work unless you force it in with your body but the second you let go it turns off again.
All of the drawers in both the kitchen and the bedroom are broken. MULTIPLE maintenance requests have been put in within the two years of living here and they STILL aren’t fixed. 2 of the drawers are completely unusable because of how unstable they are when you attempt to open them. The washer cleans clothes horribly and the dryer has to be run for more than 1 or 2 cycles to even dry my clothes. We were told we were going to get a pool view if we paid extra for it which we were completely cool with. That meant getting a tiny sliver of the pool from one singular window that we COULD BARELY SEE (photo attached).
The AC has been dripping rust water for almost 6 MONTHS NOW. Many maintenance requests have been put in but nothing has been done about it. They claimed that the ac was on “too cold” which I wouldn’t consider 72 degrees to be “too cold” especially for arizona DURING THE SUMMER. We have 2 cups right in front of the door to catch the water dripping from the AC vent that has to be emptied often because of how fast they fill up. The floor is constantly soaked even with the cups and a towel underneath it. The floor is completely stained darker because of the rust seeping into the hardwood floors. There is a giant gap under the front door that allows literally every type of bug to get into the apartment. We have had crickets and spiders constantly coming in without a way to completely seal the bottom of the door without completely replacing it.
This past week a pipe from one of the water heaters broke and exploded on the second floor, leading to our first floor apartment to leak from the walls and ceiling. The carpet was completely ruined and needed to be ripped out. My roommate had to be move to a different unit until it was fixed. He got the key from the leasing office and thought that they would tell the guy he was rooming with temporarily that someone else was going to be living there for a while until it was fixed. THEY DIDN’T! The guy had no idea someone else was moving in temporarily because no one decided to tell him out of common courtesy.
The upstairs neighbors are a NIGHTMARE. The walls are so thin we can hear them talking and stomping around. I’m not sure if they are doing it on purpose but it’s ridiculous. The WiFi was CONSTANTLY out almost the entire summer. I was unable to complete some of my summer class assignments and had to go somewhere else with WiFi. It was very inconvenient especially when I am paying a lot of money to live here. The leasing office people have claimed multiple times they don’t have my package even though my tracking claims it was dropped off at the leasing office. They are clueless and don’t know what they are doing. I had to go back twice to tell them that my package was in there, lo and behold it was like I said the first two times of going in there.
The bus that most ASU students use to get to school, because they have no form of transportation, breaks down CONSTANTLY. The first day of class this semester the bus was broken down for a couple days and multiple students had to share ubers to get to class and back. This is a constant problem that the bus is unreliable. You aren’t sure if the bus is going to be there on time until you’ve already missed it or it just doesn’t come.
These people need to get their shit together or a lot more people won’t be renewing their leases either.
