Great apartment, Tammy is a wonderful manager. But at least twice a year, someone gets shot and dies within a 0.5 mile radius around these apartments. There isn’t a drug problem inside or anything, apartments are wonderful, they handle issues with speed and care. It’s literally just the area. Watch out :/

Lived here for around a year, and honestly, apart from a little sketchy neigborhood (but nothing too crazy) it was great. They give you a nice and tidy apartment, everything works, maintainance is great, and they're usually quite responsive if you need any help. Neighbors are nice and quiet. Plus rent controlled so all utilities are fixed, which is a godsend in Tucson. Tami, the manager, is amazing as well. A few things though - the neighborhood is a bit sketchy, so there may be some trouble having a car, although the public transportation is quite alright from here, plus there's a bike path to the university, which is great if you want to commute regularly to the campus. It's also an older property so you may not have things like a dishwasher and sink garbage disposal that are quite common in newer apartments. The AC is great during the summers, but not the best at temperature control if you use heat mode during the winters (almost got grilled once). But apart from this, it was a really cozy and chill apartment to stay in, not to mention the beautiful sunsets you see everyday :)
