Living at Jones Berkeley has been an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I moved in, the level of professionalism and care from the team has exceeded my expectations. Lassel, the property manager, has been incredible to work with. They are attentive, responsive, and genuinely care about the residents. Any questions or concerns I’ve had were addressed promptly and with a friendly, helpful attitude. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to creating a positive community atmosphere, and Lassel truly goes above and beyond. Manuel, the maintenance supervisor, is equally outstanding. Whenever I’ve needed assistance, Manuel has handled everything quickly and efficiently, always with a smile. His expertise and attention to detail ensure that the property is well-maintained and that residents feel taken care of. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and it makes a huge difference. The apartments themselves are modern, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Combined with such an amazing team, Jones Berkeley is truly a place that feels like home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great living experience in Berkeley!

We called with an “emergency request“ regarding a gas failure with our oven at 5:39 on Monday evening. The service is supposed to be available until 6 PM. Never a response. I went down and talked with Lassel the next day around noon, only to find out that we had not been informed the prior afternoon about a PG&E gas issue, and that it (A gas shut off”) would only affect certain units in the building. Not our neighbors, who told us Monday evening that their ovens were working. Lassel subsequently sent us an email explaining that the cell phone associated with the “emergency request“ line was dead. Someone had not checked the battery. What? What? Bush league at best.
