I literally had to write this praise because of one of the staff members here, Jake. I truly felt a sense of warmth and care. Since last month, I ran into a tech & printer issue in my unit, and I was so busy in the past few weeks, which prevented me from replying in time. Jake continued following up and checking on the situation. That level of patience and responsibility honestly surprised me in the best way, and it even made me feel a little guilty about how delayed my responses were. When I finally resurfaced during RRR Week and told him I had time, he scheduled a technician for the very next day and fixed everything already. The speed??? The efficiency??? I was genuinely impressed. Four years in Berkeley, I’ve lived in places where the response time was basically “please don’t expect a response. If you're looking for an apartment where management is truly committed to residents, especially for students with busy schedules(like, if they don't follow up, you’d probs forget), I really recommend giving this place a look. The Senior Community Manager here is incredibly responsible and genuinely cares about the residents. P.S. The building provides a free printer with color printing.

Management has raised rents with zero real justification and no improvement to anything here. Trisha especially has not been helpful — very dismissive whenever anyone brings up concerns. Communication is slow, maintenance takes forever, and every conversation feels like we’re bothering them just by asking questions. I would not recommend living here unless you want constant frustration and higher bills every year.
