It’s a great place to live.... it’s clean, great location, cool neighbors. It’s by a school but you’d barely notice, it’s so calm. Ron is great always says hello. He does the maintance really well. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the office manager is never in the office, every time I have a question or need to talk to her, she’s never there. It doesn’t matter the time of day, I even go when she told me to go and she was gone for the day already…. as always. She has an assistant whose always there when I go in the office and she’s helpful but sometimes I need the actual manager for some questions. If you never need the office manager then it’s not a big deal and you should live here

Our initial first impression with Aspire was exceptionally poor. The first unit we were in was not cleaned upon arrival, had a very creaky ceiling (with some spots especially squeaky, possible structural concern), had a colony of black mold under the sink and some other problems not entirely worth mentioning right now. For clarification, we got the unit site unseen. Do not do this. I personally expected a tour first but I believe my wife and I miscommunicated. Check out places before you sign leases is what I have taken from the experience, but I do hope Aspire cleans that space and clears the mold before the next tenant tries it out. Both the location and neighborhood are pretty nice and I'd hate for other people to have the same experience we did. Upon speaking with management, who treated us very respectfully and understood our concerns, we were offered a new upstairs unit. I've only just moved almost all of our things today and am currently in the process of getting everything unboxed, so we don't have a full impression of this new space quite yet but from the outset, it seems nicer. Very few issues. My chief concerns with this new space lie in that some areas of the floor seem to dip and some squeak. I imagine our old upstairs neighbor noticed the same in order for those noises to have been happening. It doesn't seem like it was as bad as the ceiling above us in the last one sounded, but I'm not on the receiving end this time. Hope I'm not the noisy neighbor now. Haven't informed management of it yet but I don't know what all they could do about it aside from assess whether or not it could be a safety concern, but they will hear from us about it along with whatever else we put in their paperwork they give you to fill out to note pre-existing damages/whatever else. Pamela Bortz is the main person we've spoken to in management and she has been very accommodating in regards to our payments for the process of moving into another unit as well as not charging us pet rent since we did not have our cats moved in yet due to us not really settling. Nothing negative to say about management, really. Aside from our first unit being in the state it was, but accidents happen and I do sincerely hope it was an outlier. Management has felt pretty approachable and I really do not at this time have much negative to say about them unlike some older reviews who really harp on being gouged on move-out fees or in general them seeming unprofessional/unresponsive. The only real problem specific to management that we had is that our initial application took quite a while to get a response to, but I heard from a friend that lives here that management was particularly swamped at the time, so that could have been an exception. But yeah, we are feeling much better about this alternative we have been granted. For now I'll swap the score from 1 to a tentative 3, and I'll update this review as my experience continues to unfold. Hopefully this new beginning can set things right.

Great atmosphere to live in, office ladies are super nice! I love Everyone that I met here so far :) great new friends. And very pet friendly as well! Pam is the best!

Came in to ask some questions and the staff was very nice! They were really friendly and answered my questions. There are two office ladies that are really professional so I liked that. The apartments look like they’re in good condition for how long they’ve been there and clean. I really like the area next to Sheldon. I’ve been wanting to move closer to my kids so this will probably be my new home if I apply!

DO NOT MOVE HERE IN 2023+. I chose to ignore the bad reviews, and it was a horrible decision. Squirrels living in the cieling. Our apartment was not clean when we first moved in (dirty toilet, crusted poop on the floor, bad smell). The outdoor lighting doesn't work and feels unsafe when walking outside at night. Maintenance was questionable (see pics of cracking cement stairs and the strip of white paint on the cieling that was supposed to cover the water stain around it). It's $4 for a load of laundry ($2 to wash $2 to dry). The pool is closed for half of the summer for maintenance. The workout room is rarely stocked with toilet paper, let alone drinking water. No sleeping in on Friday mornings because landscapers start at 8AM. People who have lived there a long time say it's because of new management, and I'm inclined to believe it. They're legally supposed to have your deposit to you within 31 days after your lease end date. In my case, it took 47, and I had to call, email, and go in repeatedly to keep them attentive to it. They had to ask for my forwarding address three different times. My housemate didn't receive any newsletters the entire year, even though we asked them to fix it several times. They charged us for a day's rent after moving out because they neglected to tell us they no longer change locks after move out day, and instead use the previous key, or they charge you until you give it back. TL;DR A 2 bedroom here is not worth $1700+/mo when they're this badly maintained.
