the apartment itself is nice but the good ends there. the management terrible random charges will appear on your account and you will never get a real explanation why, many of the staff are very rude and condescending . I do not smoke and have never smoked on or near the premise and they tried to make a blanket charge for everyone in that building because they could not find the person behind the activity. the internet is really bad and cost me a couple of quizzes. ultimately if you need a place to stay do what you have to do but if you can avoid do it.

Seeing as I was a resident at The Village since it opened, I left as there was a rapid decline in service and more. The wifi was one of the worst issues I have ever had to deal with— It was very common for internet to be out almost every other week. This isn’t ideal at all for students who rely on the internet to study and complete assignments. If you work from home just forget about it. The pool was closed for almost TWO YEARS. They finally had it opened during the winter and even then they still had to close it due to maintenance issues. The maintenance was a good staff when I was living there. I didn’t have issues with them. My biggest issue with them was the roommate pairing. The age difference for the roommate pairings was not ideal. Someone mentioned an 18 year old and someone way over 25 which they would do. My roommate also stole from me when she had her family over and the staff, campus POLICE, and uni basically did NOTHING to resolve the issue. They didn’t even move her to another unit per some excuse. The staff ran by students is hit or miss- depends on who they hire for the season. They could be very helpful or some of the worst and they even break the rules that they enforce so hard. But after my items were stolen from the apartment that I have been at for almost two years and the unhelpful and often rude, nonchalant attitude of staff, it was time for me to leave. It’s not worth it when you have a weirdo roommate who steals from you, amenities and services that don’t work/operate as advertised, inconsiderate/loud neighbors the staff won’t communicate with, on top of that weird restrictions in their lease (no candles allowed, etc- READ THE LEASE CAREFULLY) I will no longer deal with that. I honestly recommend elsewhere unless you REALLY need to live by the campus.

I would not recommend living at this property due to repeated issues with management, lack of responsiveness, and overall poor living conditions. My experience was marked by miscommunication and disregard for resident well-being. One of the most significant challenges I faced involved an unexpected roommate assignment. Management informed us of the new roommate the day they were scheduled to move in, without prior notice. Unfortunately, this individual did not follow basic cleanliness standards and smoked, which significantly impacted my health as someone with asthma. I provided medical documentation to management regarding the health risks, yet my concerns were ignored. Their only suggestions were to either continue living with the issue or to move out both unacceptable solutions, especially when a transfer to another unit came with added fees. Attempting to end my lease early due to these ongoing issues was also met with resistance. Management insisted on full payment for the remaining lease term, even though the living conditions had become untenable. It's disheartening to see such a lack of empathy and flexibility. Additional concerns included the frequent unavailability of amenities, such as the pool, which remained closed for much of my stay. There were also unannounced unit inspections or notices given on the same day something that caused further discomfort and stress. Unfortunately, these are not isolated incidents. Many other residents have shared similar frustrations, particularly around management’s failure to act on valid complaints. If you're considering live here, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The level of stress and lack of support from the staff made my time here extremely difficult and disappointing.

Horrible if you’re a student, do not rely on amenities or the staff. Even the students living there know the place is a joke! Lost packages, never any internet, the events aren’t even worth going to, you can tell they cut corners and have no care for tenants. There is security but the housing is not even exclusive to students and is greatly overpriced. They are always having problems and communication issues, don’t expect a quick easy resolution! If I had known about all of these problems I would’ve never even came. This place has caused me so much extra stress and anxiety on top of being a student.

Really nice apartments, pretty new and well maintained, the apartment's are well equipped, have good AC ,a ceiling fan, fridge/freezer, washer, dryer, stove, oven and an microwave. There is a nice gym ,a swimming pool and volley ball field on the gated premises.
