I’ve been living here for over a year, and this is truly the best place I’ve ever lived. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and feels like home. Maria from the office is always friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful - any issue is resolved quickly and professionally. Tom, the property manager, is also very kind and always willing to meet residents halfway, which makes a huge difference. The community is kept clean and well-maintained thanks to Jennifer. I see her around very often, and it honestly feels like she works nonstop to keep everything in perfect order. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great place to live!

New faucet was ordered but delivery was delayed so Gregg followed up on his own and saved the day. Great service and really appreciated everything getting handled and going above and beyond. Also addressed my disposal issue as well.

Kayleigh and Maria were absolutely amazing in my experience moving into Veranda! I had read through all their reviews prior and mentioned my concerns which were put at ease. I mentioned how I noticed the negative ones were mostly from a while back. I was also told there has been new management and they are making efforts to fix some of the previous complaints. I am somewhat of a picky lady you could say (and a little indecisive), however both Kayleigh and Maria were so patient and kind throughout the entire process. I think I came 3 times in total to look at different units 😅 I was always treated kindly and like a friend! They’re both so welcoming, friendly, down to earth and funny which is a plus. They keep a positive attitude while being relatable. I am happy with my unit and the amenities that come with this complex. I have 2 dogs and this is by far the most dog friendly place I have ever lived it definitely makes you feel welcome as a dog owner. 2 dog parks, 4 pools and hot tubs, club houses, fitness rooms, local parks to walk to, in a great central location. Upon move in I mentioned maintenance requests and they were quick and timely on many of them. There are always workers about keeping up with the property and Jennifer specifically is soo sweet and kind! She’ll even have a treat and kind word for your pup ❤️ I am very happy living here so far and would highly recommend this community to anyone who is looking. I can’t say enough good things about living here! The apartments are beautiful, well-maintained, and truly feel like home. The community is always improving—management is consistently making upgrades and adding little touches that make a big difference. They also host fun events that bring people together and really create a sense of community, which I love. What makes this place stand out the most, though, is the staff. Everyone is so kind, professional, and quick to help whenever you need anything. I especially want to highlight Kayleigh—she goes above and beyond to make sure residents are cared for. Whether it’s answering questions, handling requests with a smile, or just creating a welcoming environment, she truly makes a difference. If you’re looking for a place that feels safe, comfortable, and supported by an amazing team, this is the spot. I’m so grateful to call this my home!

am about to celebrate my one year anniversary as a resident of Veranda La Mesa. I have lived many places over the years and Veranda La Mesa is the best of them by far! I live in a beautifully, completed renovated apartment with a balcony that overlooks Aztec park and Mt Helix. It is a quiet, peaceful community with spacious, well-manicured grounds, and a host of amenities that include four pools and multiple spas, a dog park and dog spa, basketball and tennis courts, multiple laundry facilities, a game room and co-working lounge, and a fitness center. I also enjoy our frequent community events, You will never be bored here! The crown jewel is the excellent staff - the wonderful Maria, who goes above and beyond to make your resident experience the best possible; the lovely Kayleigh, who is also a stellar at in her work, to management - Tom - and the maintenance and grounds keepers, it is clear how much everyone cares about the community. I am so proud to call Veranda my home and look forward to enjoying it for a very long time!
