Moved in Nov ‘25. I didn’t actually see the unit prior to move in, which is on me. I assumed the ones I did tour would reflect the unit I would move into. The complex is pretty quiet. Due to time of year, I have not been able to enjoy the pools yet. The workout area is a decent size and I am usually able to get in whatever workout in am wanting when I go there. Package delivery in the lockers is handy. My only real complaint was the condition of the unit upon move in. It smelled of wet dog, and I foolishly thought it was because they have cleaned the carpets that day. Once I vacuumed I realized that was not the case. Even after repeated requests to have the carpet issue addressed, nothing has been done. The dog smell has lingered and has not been addressed as of Feb ‘26. I’ve had it cleaned on my own and finally at least am not getting as much dog hair when vacuuming. Not sure when the air filter was changed last, but those are 2 things I would have assumed would be done prior to move in. Hindsight, I should have taken a first floor unit to avoid the smelly carpet. Otherwise, not a bad place.

Just had a tour with Chip and it couldn’t have gone better. We have a few more apartment tours at other places this week but I almost don’t want to go to them. Chip really sold this place. The amenities are amazing and the walking paths look perfect for our growing family. My credit isn’t the best but Chip is helping put my mind at ease about this working out. The apartment looks nicely renovated and even has a fire place. I’m mostly excited about the double master bedrooms and the safety of the community. Overall, Chip really made me fall in love with this apartment complex and I’m excited to make the next steps to live there.

This place is hopeless. They transferred the nice office girl to another building and left us with the really grouchy office girl. When the other girl was here I think her name was Dayanna she was so lovely. She was always super polite and friendly. ALWAYS A PROFESIONAL. This girl Doloris is always grouchy, dismissive and rude as heck. She is always in a bad mood. I came in back in December to pay my rent . I came in December 2, 2025 and she told me I could only pay with cashiers check on December 4th and that I needed to come back dismissively. I was reviewing my online portal yesterday and I saw that I got charged a late fee on December 4th. No problem. I paid it.
I only reach out when a something truly requires me to contact that office because I am not even provided a smile from her she always treats me like I am an inconvenience. I expect to be talked to with the same respect I am giving in all interactions moving forward. If I have a question about why you cannot accept my cashiers check I expect you to provide me clarity not be dismissive, brush my concerns off and then charge me a late fee the next day. I am not making this a big deal because of the late fee either. This was not the first interaction that was like this also on
November 18 2025 : my girlfriend called the office because we were charged for not having renters insurance when our policy is paid for a year in advance until August 2026. Doloris did not give a damn. She kept telling her to contact our insurance when my girlfriend tried explaining to her that our renters insurance policy was paid until next year: Doloris cut her off mid sentence began talking over her really loudly. "I ALREADY TOLD YOU YOU WERE CHARGED FOR NOT HAVING AN ACTIVE POLICY. YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR INSURANCE!"
October 31 2025: I called the office because Hailey kept sending messages about a past due balance everyday for over a week! I called and called and could not gett thru. So I left my job early for this and came in person just to be told by Doloris that the office closed early due to Halloween . I tried explaining the situation and she cut me off halfway thru my sentence : I ALREADY TOLD YOU YOU WILL NEED TO COME BACK ON MONDAY! SORRY.
That would have been great to know when I called and called and got no answer to my calls. But to be told this with an IDGAF attitude when I left work early and went down there in person because I keep getting these balance due messages and you were not answering the phone all day made my blood boil. We are getting out of here at the end of our lease term. Chip has been Amazing btw.

I have lived here for 10 years and recently renewed my lease for an 11th year. I like this community because of the good neighbors and the convenient access to stores and public transportation, which makes it a great place to live. The maintenance team is always responsive and ready to help.
I never had any issues until recently, when Maxx Properties began using AI, which caused some problems for me. I spoke with Mr. Chip Lightman and Assistant Manager Mr. Christian Aleman about the issue, and it was resolved quickly. I would especially like to thank Mr. Aleman, whose willingness to help and resolve the problem is truly appreciated.

Update December 9th: Paulette made sure we were taken care of. She was really professional and kind to my wife. Maintenance came by today and took care of all of our complaints. Thankfully, it wasn't the same person who came before. This time it was Angel and someone else, which we didn't get their name, but my wife said they were very professional, polite, and handled everything properly. They also ended up fixing everything yesterday. The previous maintenance guy stated all the tasks might not get done in one day and would take a long time, yet Angel and his partner were able to complete everything and we are satisfied with what they did. The previous maintenance man said all the parts in our toilet needed to be replaced, when that wasn't the case and Angel and his partner fixed it very quickly and it has been working well since then. I appreciate the kindness and our property being fixed and cleaned. Thank you again, Paulette. Sincerely. 10/10! Your customer service and kindness truly made the difference. As well as maintenance being professional, polite, and also fixing everything that needed to be fixed.
Update about maintenance fixing and painting our apartment at 1pm (December 8th): Steve finally arrived at 3:37 pm and nothing got fixed. He was rude to my wife as well, which was uncalled for. He also tried joking around with us, which wasn't funny since our place was a complete mess when we moved in. Felt like he was testing our patience or just joking around to make himself feel more comfortable. He didn't fix anything and said he was short staffed and will return tomorrow to try and fix everything.
My wife and I recently moved into these apartments about a few weeks ago. Before moving in, we were helped out by Chip who seems very kind. He helped us out with the application fees and told us we would be helped out by someone else named Christopher and said he would be the agent who would help us further with moving in. Christopher did not help us at all. He never called me back any of the times he said he would. He did not provide any of the the information we needed in order to move in, but tried to say we would be taken care of and that our move in would be smooth, which it wasn't. I called several times almost everyday for two weeks before our move, because he didn't provide us with any information or even any of the forms we needed to electronically sign. He sent over the lease for us to sign about a few days before move in and only because I mentioned the lease we needed to sign. He was surprised I knew about the lease and asked how I knew about that and I told him there was a list of actions we needed to complete in order to move in and the last two things we needed were the lease and to pay for our security deposit and the move in fees. It wasn't giving us access to the portal in order for us to pay and it was supposed to be paid before the moving date. So, I kept calling to ensure we completed everything beforehand. Christopher kept telling me he would call me back and help my wife and I, but never did. When my wife called one of the times, he gave my wife attitude and told her he said he would call back, but she called because he never called us back any of the times he said he would. He also said our front door would be fixed and painted before move in and it wasn't. He actually ended up not being there the day of our move in, which he failed to inform us. When I called a day before, a lady answered, who I believe was the lady at the front desk, told me Christopher wasn't going to be working the day of our move in and asked if we could push our move in a day after instead when Christopher would be there. I told her no, because we already had our move in day set two weeks prior and we were ready to move in when it was scheduled. Mind you, this was a day before move in. (I will continue my review through screenshots and post them as photos, because it will not allow me to write everything I need to say due to the limitation this section has. It might be out of order, but it'll all be there).
