Aven is an amazing place to live! The panoramic views of Downtown LA are breathtaking, giving you that iconic Hollywood vibe every day. The building’s amenities are exceptional, especially the California Deck on the seventh floor, it’s the ideal hangout spot that adapts to your mood. And let’s not forget the free coffee machine; their hot chocolate is absolutely delicious. All the staff in the building is really nice always prepared and willing to help. Living here feels like a dream come true!

⚠️ WARNING: Ongoing Marijuana Smoke Problem – Avoid High Floor Units Ending in 03 and Nearby! We’ve been living here for nearly a year and the marijuana smoke problem is out of control. For months, we have dealt with overwhelming weed odor filling our unit nearly every day and night. Despite repeated complaints, air purifiers, and even wearing a mask at home, the smoke continues to affect our breathing, sleep, and overall health. Management is fully aware of the issue but refuses to offer real solutions. We’ve submitted multiple service requests, provided documentation, and even asked to transfer units or terminate our lease early. All requests have been denied, and the only response has been vague promises to “monitor the situation” while nothing changes. If you value your health or peace of mind, think twice before signing a lease here — especially in high floor units ending in “03” and the surrounding units, where the smoke seems to be most concentrated. This is a serious habitability and health issue, and future residents should be warned.

I moved in Aven recently, and I couldn’t be happier. The building is modern, clean, and packed with amenities — from the rooftop pool to the big modern gym and co-working spaces, it feels more like a luxury resort than just an apartment complex. The staff is super friendly and responsive, especially David. Plus, the location in DTLA is unbeatable!

Moving into Aven has been a great decision. The move-in process was smooth, and Davud has been very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. I love the community vibe here — residents are friendly, and the front desk helps me grab packages and provide me with lots of useful information as well. The views from the apartment are incredible, especially at sunset. Highly recommend it for young professionals.

I’ve really enjoyed living at Aven Apartments—it’s truly one of the best locations in all of Downtown LA. The building feels incredibly safe and consistently clean, which makes a huge difference when choosing where to live in the city. I’ve always felt secure coming and going, even late at night. For anyone leaving reviews about “typical downtown crime,” it’s worth pointing out that Aven is located in one of the most well-maintained and thoughtfully managed areas in DTLA. Blanket statements like that often miss the real character of this neighborhood and the work being done to make it vibrant and livable. I’d definitely recommend Aven to anyone looking for a downtown lifestyle with comfort, convenience, and peace of mind.
