I toured apartments feb 5th and the tour went fine and apparently our tour was with a "temp" as the actual leasing agent Joshua came up to us after in the parking lot asking if we had any questions because our person was just a "temp" and "doesn't know much" he pressured us to apply that night to get all these move in specials but I am from out of town and had to weigh options. he is very persistent and is emailing, calling leaving voicemails, texting me multiple times so I ended up applying because he was so persistent. I apply that Sunday feb 8th and he pressed really hard that in order to get these deals I had to move in by feb 22 which is exactly two weeks from the application time which was fine but then after we applied Joshua was non existent he wouldn't respond to texts, emails, and was sending my calls to voicemail which is super unprofessional. Over a week later I had to call the property manager (who was helpful) because our move in date was approaching very fast and my leasing agent wasn't answering any communications and actually avoiding my calls and we needed to know if we got approved or not since we are from out of town. the property manager says that everything is still pending and they needed more to verify our income since it said insufficient funds which was incorrect I made sure with Joshua what the credit and income limits needed to be before we even applied and we had well over 3x the rent. I also expressed my concern for the move in date and the property manager said that she would accommodate a later move in date and still honor the move in specials and she would have Joshua give me a call the next day for an update this was on Monday he did not call me back until Friday February 20th when the move in date he pressed so hard for was 2 days away. He calls and acts super nonchalant like he wasn't ignoring me for two weeks, he's extremely rude on the phone keeps talking over me, stops talking for 5 minutes doesn't put me on hold or anything, and then asks me if I'm still ready to move in on February 22nd which is two days away??? mind you I'm still not approved and he says we need to send bank statements and then they'll let me know that afternoon. he is still pressing that the latest he can push back my movie in date is February 28th but id lose one of the move in specials and the price would increase moving in after that date. Excuse me?? you barely reached out too me two weeks after I've been trying to contact you and want me to move in two days. and when I tried to explain that the property manager had said different and that we can have a move in date of our choice since the delay was on their end he starts cutting me off not letting me talk and is rude.he is by far the worst leasing agent I've ever dealt with. DO NOT MOVE HERE OR APPLY! Joshua is a terrible leasing agent and will not be helpful at all. would not recommend I ended up telling him to withdraw our application.
