I recently toured this community as I’m getting a head start on my apartment search before I’m ready to rent. The tour was informative, and I liked getting a feel for the floor plans and amenities. I also appreciated learning about some upcoming improvements planned around the time I’ll be looking to move. The location is a big plus too — having Fry’s, Target, and Walmart right down the street is super convenient. I’m not quite ready to decide yet, but this is definitely a community I’ll be keeping on my radar.

I’ve lived here three years and every winter it’s the same: repeated water shutoffs, no hot water, and “emergencies” that never get resolved. Just in recent weeks we had shutdowns on Dec 22, 23, 29, 30, 31 and Jan 5, 13, and 15. This has continued through multiple ownership changes with no lasting fix.
Management access and communication are poor—walk-ins are discouraged, everything is pushed to the portal, and complaints are often ignored or minimized. The complex markets itself as a community, but noise, safety, and basic upkeep are handled inconsistently.
The property accepts vouchers, which I support, but the pricing for residents without assistance is extremely high for the conditions. People who barely miss voucher eligibility are paying around $2,000 for a 2x2 while dealing with constant service issues and limited responsiveness.
Lease incentives don’t mean much when basics aren’t reliable. For the price, the value is not there.

I made a post originally blaming the past management company but this new one is no better.
I’ve been a resident a little over 3 years, I’ve dealt with tons of issues, maintenance related had to change apartments 3 times.
This new company gave us hope but they are just as bad as the last company but worse!!! Now they are punishing us as residents because they bought a bad property and now us as residents have to pay for it. The “regional” manager Molly is the most caddy I professional person I’ve met. I had some illegal charges posted to my ledger. Called the office 4 times on Friday, no answer. I finally have to take time out of my day to go and try and talk to them (mind you this is me having to leave work, and missing money as a single month we of 3) to go up there and find both office gals outside smoking. But couldn’t answer my call or return my voicemail. Mind you I called at 9:03, 9:05, 11:21, and 1:38. When I showed up it was almost 2.
The regional emailed me and asked to meet on Monday. Because I had an early meeting I was not able to make until about 140. As I stepped in the office a very nice man came from the back and told me someone would be right with me. Well Molly and Lorna (the property manager) did not hear. So I stand there a minute since they are in a conversation and then i hear them. Molly is literally reading off my email and mocking me. Her tone was so beyond rude, she didn’t care about my concerns she was mocking me. So I interrupted her and said what were you saying about me? I’m the resident your mocking. She instantly got silent. It was a completely pointless conversation. She tried to blame the old management company, who while they are at fault for something’s. This is not their fault. I find it SO UNPROFESSIONAL and their attitude towards residents is disgusting considering we are humans as well. Maybe she’s discriminating against me who knows but she’s beyond unprofessional, took no personal accountability. Didn’t even apologize for her unprofessional manner. Even tried to blame “the industry”. 29th street capital, this is who you have representing your company. Oh they also have a sign in the office that says “today is a beautiful day to leave me alone” and the managers door always say unavailable. Notice to vacate coming soon.
DO NO RENT FROM HERE!!!

New management took over 10/1/25. We were all so excited to get rid of Chamberlain and have a new company that would care. Oh that thought was a joke. New company doesn't answer the phone, they are never in the office, add charges to your rent that are not legally permitted and rumor has it are about to violate our lease terms by charging us individually for utilities. Great but they claim notice to the community went out 10/1. The only notice on our doors received to date was "hey new management, new portal, new name". They are all liars. Avoid this community with every dollar, its a terrible place to live.

You get what it pay for.
Crime✔️
I personally have had 2 catrs stolen from the parking lot. When asking mgt for access to the cameras that point to the parking areas, was told they don’t work.
Filth ✔️
Several residents with dogs never pick up their dogs poop. Smells like urine outside especially potent under that hot AZ sun. I’ve even watched a man pee in a wall outside of the apartment building along the walking path. Several homeless people walking thru and digging thru the dumpsters regularly. Even sleeping in the discarded furniture by the dumpsters.
Lack of parking ✔️
You’re given one assigned parking spot and too bad, not the leasing offices problem is someone parks in your spot- your problem to handle. And you better not park slightly crooked or you’ll be towed. You look at the sky wrong and you’ll be towed! But that’s okay that have over flow parking down the street in 15th that has no lights and you’re supposed to feel safe walking there and leaving your car there.
Plumbing issues✔️
First unit we lived in had our upstairs neighbors dirty water backing up into it apartment. You better believe it smelled of raw sewage. Took them nearly two weeks to resolve it and FINALLY moved us to a new until. Then when we were scrambling to move our household items to the new unit we were told not to go back in until the contractors were done since it was a safety hazard. I can respect that, but they took forever to resolve it then WE were the inconvenience. And before you ask; no, we didn’t get any sort it help moving or discount for having to live in an apartment with another families sewage backing up into it.
Leasing office turnover✔️
Want to know who your go to people are? GOOD LUCK! I lived there 2 years and the employees in the front office were CONSTANTLY changing. And the basic rules of the complex changed too with each new leasing staff change.
Dirty pool✔️
Wanna get away from the hot, AZ sun and take a dip in a refreshing ,clean sparkling pool that’s advertised on their website? GOOD LUCK! First of all, you’re lucky if it’s open because it’s always closed for repairs or whatever reason second of all when it is open, it’s clean for maybe a day and I use the term “clean” loosely because the pool is falling apart by the next day of it being reopened it’s filthy residents don’t take care of it. They throw furniture in it. It’s gross and I’m sure it’s filled pee and other bacteria.
