In my experience, management was unhelpful, incompetent and disorganized. Parking is limited, and vehicle’s are damaged while parked.
The units lack AC, in-unit washer/dryer, and built-in lighting in bedrooms and living areas. For the price, there are better and more updated options nearby.
The application process was frustrating. Despite being a licensed nurse earning well above the income requirement, I was repeatedly asked to reconnect my bank account through Nova Credit. As someone relocating from out of state, I felt the process was handled poorly and inconsistently.
Management was significantly better when the property operated as Green Briar Village. I would not recommend renting here.

We have lived in many places. So nice to finally find a great apartment . They are renovating the place, the trees are amazing, and so nice to be in a calm environment. The maintenance men are awesome. The managerment has worked hard to help us get settled. Thanks to Rudy, Tyler, Brandon and Dylan for fixing up the property and make is a great place to start over. 😊

This is a great place to live if you were homeless before this. It’s just about a step up from being on the streets. The complex is loud and the management is awful. I lived here for years because I had no other option and when I finally left they tried to charge me $900 for “breaking my lease” when I notified them 30 days in advance 30 days before my 12 month lease was up. I lived here two separate times with about a year in between and they did the same thing when I tried to move out the first time. The management is impossible to get in touch with. They will not try to accommodate an 8-5 schedule for any office matter and won’t answer your calls or emails. I was only able to get in touch by submitted a maintenance request. There is a ton of construction that is very loud all day long. They entered my apartment for multiple repairs even when I informed them they would need to wait because I was inside recovering from surgery. There was saw dust sunflower seeds and trash left on my floor after they entered anyway. The walls are extremely thin. I could hear full conversations of my neighbors. I had neighbors who would scream and fight all hours of the night on one side and a family on the other whose children I could hear crying all night through the walls as well. The parking lot is filled with trash and people smoking weed. There are coyotes and dead rabbits. The pros are that is it cheap in price (but they will raise the rent by quite a bit every year because of all the construction which has basically just been paint and new windows. Meanwhile my sink pipe bursted and flooded my apartment and all they could offer was a shop vacuum for me to use on my own. If you can afford to go anywhere else, do that. If not, good luck. I’d invest in earplugs and headphones to go over that. Just look at all the other low ratings. I’ve lived in some bad apartments but this one has to be among the worst.

Wow. Just wow. I’ve had middle school boyfriends that communicated better than these people. We scheduled a tour for today at 11:30. We drive two hours to get there and arrive ten minutes early. We go to the leasing office and knock a couple of times. No biggie, we were early so we didn’t mind waiting. 11:30 rolls by, we knock again, nothing. We even call- voicemail. Best part is we could see some lady at her desk who was doing her best to avoid eye contact. Finally it’s about twelve minutes past our appointment time and we give up and head back to the car. I look through all my contact with them and the appointment was confirmed for today at 11:30. We even drove by the specific apartment we were supposed to tour to make sure someone wasn’t there waiting for us. Now almost an hour after our scheduled appointment and I have heard nothing.

My rental experience has been pretty good at Greenbriar Village. The price was one of the most affordable, pretty comparable to low income housing without having to go through a whole screening process which was great. The staff was very helpful with my move in process. We currently have a new manager diligently working on fixing any issues we were previously having with the manager before her. I am sure I can go back to living without a pool, my kids absolutely love having a pool in the summer. My favorite part though is the view, since we are placed at a slightly higher elevation some of the apartments have an amazing view of Portland and mine definitely does.
