Let me start out by saying that this apartment, if you can get it cheap enough, is a great deal financially. For one or two people, around $1,000 is pretty manageable for rent! But please, please don't move into Ongford Apartments. Management is VERY hands off, which can be both a blessing and a curse. There is no communication, and they are very rarely where they are supposed to be in the office. After moving out, despite the fact that we were told that we shouldn't expect more than $200 max for move out fees. We then found out via a bill we got in the mail with nothing on it indicating a due date or that it was even a bill in the first place that we owe this first class establishment nearly $700.
The heating is always on, so good luck staying cool in the summer. There's a single mini fridge, a mini oven, and a sink. The sink has no water pressure and I would strongly advise against drinking the water. It was orange for the full 8-9 months we lived there. No counter space to be found. The bathrooms have no venting/fan, and we found mold and silverfish in ours when we first moved in.
Oh, and then there's all the lovely neighbors on the street outside.
Spend your money wisely - this place ain't it.
