I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with this leasing office. I have spoken with the manager in person twice, but my concerns have still not been addressed. Emails to her always bounce back, making it impossible to get help or clarification. It feels like my issues are dismissed or deprioritized in favor of her other properties, and being told “sorry, I was busy with my other offices” is unprofessional and stressful. I also feel like I’ve been gaslighted, as my valid concerns are ignored or downplayed. This level of communication and care is unacceptable for any resident. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication with residents.

I have lived at The Amy for about nine months, and unfortunately, it has not been a positive experience. About a month after moving in, I began receiving repeated noise complaints from the residents below me. Community assistants knocked on my door multiple times to inform me of complaints—even when I was simply laying in bed, walking to the bathroom, or vacuuming during the day. I’ve always been a quiet and respectful tenant, and I’ve lived in apartments most of my life without ever receiving a noise complaint—until moving here. The neighbors below would bang on their ceiling whenever I closed a door or simply walked across the room. I am not heavy-footed, and it truly began to feel like harassment. When I brought the issue to the leasing manager, I was told that this was a structural issue with the building, and that they regularly receive noise complaints from my side of the building. That response was disappointing—why was I being blamed and repeatedly disturbed for something they know is a flaw in the construction? In addition to the noise issues, I had ongoing maintenance problems. I submitted multiple requests for a persistent porta potty-like smell in the bathroom and a gargling toilet. Despite disinfecting and mopping the bathroom several times a week, the odor—coming from the floor near the toilet—never went away. Maintenance took apart the toilet and claimed nothing was wrong. My concerns were dismissed, and I eventually stopped making requests. One bright spot has been the community assistants—especially Brita and Olivia—who were always kind, respectful, and helpful.
