I've been renting at The Redwood for a bit over a year now and it's been a wonderful first time renting experience. While there seems to be a high turn around rate for their maintenance team, they are always quick and efficient with their work. Every issue I've had they've fixed in a timely manner. Ruby at the office has been a wonderful person to work with and has explained everything so well whenever I ask questions. The apartments are a bit small, and the appliances are SUPER outdated, but it isn't terrible. We had an issue with roaches and bugs during the first six months, but after they had a new company come in, I haven't seen any! The area might be a little rough, but everyone in our area mostly keeps to themselves. I hope that when the time comes, we can move into a two bedroom and continue renting with them!

I wanted to reach out and let you know how helpful you were when we were trying to get our friend set up in her new apartment. We worked with Melissa and we were trying to get it done quickly because she had a change in her living situation. There was a special deal going on also so we wanted to move fast. So with your help, Melissa, we were able to get her into her new apartment in about a day and a half. For that we are very grateful. You explained everything to us, and you helped us know exactly what we needed to do to get everything set up. Thank you.

I want to update and correct my previous review after taking the time to speak directly with Chelci. What initially felt like a deferral turned into a really positive experience once I reached out and explained my situation.
Chelci has been extremely professional, kind, and cooperative. She took the time to listen, review my circumstances, and even offered to go the extra mile in ways I honestly don’t think many property managers or regional managers would—especially for someone with a criminal background who is actively working to change their life.
I truly appreciate the time she spent talking with me and the opportunity she’s given me. This experience showed me that Redwood Apartments genuinely cares about the people they work with and believes in second chances when someone is putting in the effort to do better.
I’m grateful for the professionalism and understanding shown, and I felt it was important to update my review to reflect that.

I was in a panic attempting to beat a deadline, and for the life of me I couldn't open a Prisma account. Melissa resolved the issue immediately, within two minutes. I was very impressed and relieved, to say the least. Kudos to Melissa's professionalism and expertise, and a big thanks to all the staff at The Redwood. It was a very pleasant experience, which is rare these days. Thanks again!

This place is the best at being the worst. Not only do they cater to and reward aggressive behavior from neighbors but then they will threaten to evict you if you attempt to get help. They charge insane hidden fees and additional monthly charges, they say they will accept a payment plan just to turn around and attempt to evict anyway, they charge you for water when the pool floods, they charge you for parking even with no car, they charge for everything up to and almost including the air you breathe...but the washers never worked so expect more charges to not be able to use the laundry. Staff is two faced and talk about you to other residents, encourage only certain residents to report on everyone, which the main tenants they reach out to for information on everyone is the most aggressive neighbor and has multiple complaints about them and their dogs that got 3+ bites on their record in just the 15 months i lived there. Finally they like to do illegal lockouts and change locks without notice or court orders in the middle of move out cleaning and have the nerve to charge cleaning fees as if they didnt bar people from doing that properly. Insanity and completely unacceptable.
