The dorm is old, furniture is barely standing and when I moved in it was incredibly dirty, but what really makes it bad is the management, who are poorly trained and don't know how treat their residents fairly. The rent is 1501 USD per month per person, in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment for four people. I've had things stolen from me and no interest to help by the building's management, and on top of that, my own car was towed from my designated parking spot, which I've been using daily for over six months. The permit was visible in my car, and they have all my contact information, yet they made no attempt to notify me. I discovered my car was towed only after I found it missing, and I had to search for it myself. To make matters worse, my car was at the tow site for three whole days, accumulating fees, all while I was kept in the dark. When I finally found it, I discovered that it had been towed improperly, causing damage to my tires and potentially my brakes. Instead of offering assistance or taking responsibility for their egregious mistake, the management decided to just provide me with their lawyer's contact information. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for residents is utterly appalling. The only good thing is the people from maintance are really quick and nice.

I love living at Aztec Corner! I just renewed my lease for next year. The location is so close to campus, the facilities/apartments are nice and offered at an affordable price, and the staff here is very attentive and helpful. Also, another plus is the free printing! If you are looking for an apartment to live in while you are a student at San Diego State, I would highly recommend considering Aztec Corner!

The best part about Aztec Corner is how close it is to campus, it is extremely convenient to not only get to the school but other stores as well. The front office is also really friendly, definitely a plus to be able to get free coffee every morning and print stuff. The only downer is you do have to pay for the laundry and its really close to the main road so it can get a tad loud, other than that I would definitely renew my lease. Also once in a while they have events where they offer FREE FOOD and nothing is better than free food when you're a college student!

Aztec Corner is a great place to live if you want to be close to campus. It is very convenient for those early morning and late night classes since it is about a 2 minute walk to the main campus. The surrounding area does get rowdy in the evenings because it is so close to Fraternity Row. In addition, you are very close in proximity to your neighbors so in order to maintain privacy, closing the blinds is a must. A plus though is that the staff is very friendly and are willing to answer any questions you may have. Also, the maintenance staff is quick to respond to service requests.

Aztec Corner is a great place to live, especially when transitioning from your freshman year in college. Not only is it a 5 min walk to campus, it is also one of the more affordable, furnished apartments in the area. The bedrooms are nicely sized, including full size beds, spacious closets and a generous amount of drawer space. Service requests are usually fulfilled within a reasonable amount of time, and management is very nice. Overall this is a decently affordable, and comfortable apartment near campus.
