First of all they showed us a second floor apartment that is close to the gym, and the front office. But guess what? They gave us a apartment that is 1block or a building away from the one that they actually showed us. And they were a lot of crickets and roaches under the concrete of my door, they sometimes enter the house with the Crack in the wall or the broken net that the windows have. The cabinets had a lot of dead insects in them. The microwave had a crack on the door. Besides all that they had a great pool, but the hot tub... they had a lot of dead insects and leaves. And sometimes the leave scooper thing in the pool is gone, so we could not use the pool sometimes. The walls and roofs had a lot of cracks. The bathroom had molds. The parking was so close to the bedroom windows that the cars constantly wakes me up. Also the laundry room, it costs too much. It also have the door opened so there were alot of roaches in there. I don't think it was great but it was liveable.

Roach infested!! I thought it was manageable but it is absolutely not. With treatments and without treatments it’s just not cool. Roaches come out the walls the cabinets even the drains in the shower it’s just roach infested! Contact the health department to have an inspector come out so they can hold management accountable !

I love my apartment, the only issue I personally have is that the floors are very creaky so I feel bad making too much noise for my downstairs neighbors but it’s just an older building, otherwise I think the walls are thick enough I never hear my neighbors or even outside much! The maintenance team is great they always do their best to resolve my issues so far!(: I do hope I can extend my lease when it comes to an end.
Also PS to the NEIGHBORS, please pick up after your dogs it’s not that hard. Carry a dang poop bag holder on you, they’re cheap. It’s not the apartments duty to pick up after YOUR dog. Don’t make it nasty for everyone else -_- maybe if we had more trashcan/poop bag areas around the complex it would help but inconsiderate people are inconsiderate people.

I’ve been a resident here for many years, even when it was pretty bad and I have to say that they have turned it around. The streets have been completely redone, before Acorn and Madeline were some of the worst streets to drive on because of the potholes in all of San Diego. The maintenance team, I have known them for a long time and they are phenomenal. On time, very respectful. Finally, the building is older yes but it has seen improvements and upkeep which is better than most property management companies.

Took out most of my security deposit for the carpet which was ruined by them. Do NOT trust them!!! My bedroom floor was soaked with water the first day I moved in. After it rained the water went through the wall and into my apartment. A few weeks later my furniture is ruined and my apartment is UNINHABITABLE. I am sleeping on my linoleum living room floor while my bedroom is flooded AGAIN. You can see the yellowing and rust on my Posture Pedic Cali king bed. Completely RUINED. management gave me 40 credit and said that this is habitable and refuses to fix the problem. The parking spaces are definitely over sold, at night I find zero parking. PARKING is becoming a big deal for me when I come home from work late at night and there is literally not a single space in the complex or on the street. I have an issue with bugs here within the first day, ROACHES and SPIDERS. I have found MOLD in my bathroom and termites from the wall. With my bedroom flooded i guess I can expect to have mold in the bedroom as well. I have not felt comfortable or healthy since moving here. My neighbors have had a lot to say in the small amount of time that I have been here. The management has not been transparent on several occasions, they lie constantly and do nothing to help renters that LIVE here.
