I cannot recommend The Lanterman enough to those looking to move to the downtown Seattle area. Although I typically don't consider myself a city girl, this complex has made me feel right at home and is in an area of Seattle thats both safe and quiet. The rooftop is one of my favorite places in the city and I love to unwind on summer nights overlooking the canal and listening to live music from the brewery across the street. You are extremely close to a gorgeous trail along the canal and within walking distance to the Fremont area. The apartment itself is updated and has thick walls. Definitely consider this location as your new home!

The Lanterman is in an incredibly safe area, and I’ve never had to worry about my car while street parking or my personal safety around other tenants. The building fosters a strong sense of community, making it a secure and welcoming place to live. If you're a student at Seattle Pacific University or simply looking for a safe and convenient home in the city, this is a fantastic choice. Further, the management, run by Bonavista, is incredibly responsive making it stand out from other buildings I have lived in before. I needed my dishwasher repaired, messaged them, and they were on it the same week!

I've been visiting my bf for the year he's lived at the Lanternman. The apartments have always been well maintained, and he has only had good things to say about management. The building is well insulated, and there is an abundance of hot water. The roof has a gorgeous view. One day, I left my wallet up there when visiting, and other residents went above and beyond to get it back to me. I considered renting a unit myself, but ultimately we will be moving in together and need a larger space than available.

Newer building with management that responds well with requests. Karen is super sweet and resolves issues swiftly while making sure her residents are good. Next to the canal which is a beautiful walk and bakeries/coffee spots near by. The communal amenities like the gym and rooftop could use a spruce but the actual live in units are great with dishwasher and laundry in unit. Storage is also on site as well as additional communal bike storage.

This apartment complex is a menace to everyone else living in this alleyway. Because of the poor management of this apartment, there is trash literally everywhere that attracts rats and raccoons daily. There has also been moldy food that goes everywhere in the ally, along with all the other trash that is literally all over the place. This is beyond out of hand. Dont live somewhere managed by people that clearly have zero regard for their neighbors or their residence.
