Love living here great management, Karla is fantastic and always very helpful, the only problems is laundry room machine s not working correctly, hot tub is always hit are miss if the pilot light is let. Should be check daily by maintenance. Great to have two swimming pools but not heated and can only be used 3 months a year. And rent going up every year will eventually price me out. But very happy with Apt usually quite and peaceful. I recommend people to move here.

My issue with maintenance was never resolved i found out what the problem was and we got gnat Problem due to the no hose to release the water causing the sewer like smell in garbage disposal and it's causing to have gnats. I had to place insect sticker throughout my apartment 😞 I'm not comfortably because I sure no one else is having this issue so if the problem is not fix I'm breaking my lease because this is totally ridiculous I have to cover my food so gnats that fly around don't land on my food.

I lived at Madison West Apartments AKA Emory for about five years, and my experience was far from positive.
On May 19, 2018, I had a traumatic experience when I was shot at while sitting in my car in the parking lot getting ready to go to the store. A bullet narrowly missed me, hitting the wall across the street instead. The shooter was standing by the dumpster near the mailboxes, and one of the office managers was able to identify him, but I’ve yet to hear anything about him being caught. This individual also fired his weapon at the nearby apartment complex. Since that day, I’ve felt paranoid and unsafe every time I leave my apartment, which is especially distressing for me as a disabled U.S. Army veteran. I shouldn't have to worry about gun violence so close to home.
Additionally, the landscaping crew hired by the complex often uses blowers that leave dirt and debris all over cars. This lack of consideration is frustrating.
The management also charges excessive "pet rent fees"
UPDATE 10/17/2022: I’ve finally moved out of this complex. A plasma center recently opened across the street, bringing in an influx of shady individuals, including drug users and homeless people. There were also instances of neighbors stealing items from patios and cars.
Despite never being late on rent—even during the pandemic—the management attempted to withhold my full deposit over bogus fees. It seems the ownership has changed after the original owner passed away, leading to a new management focused on maximizing profits rather than maintaining a safe and pleasant living environment. I strongly advise against renting from this company. If you find yourself in this situation, be prepared for a lack of responsiveness to complaints.
Originally, I gave them two stars, but I wish I could give them negative five for their shady practices.
Other issues included noisy neighbors (like amateur music producers above me) and outdated appliances.
Here are a few concerning incidents I witnessed while living here:
-A neighbor had their bumper stolen off an Infinity G37.
- I dealt with “patio pirates” who stole from residents.
-Someone attempted to steal a license plate from my vehicle, though I managed to deter them.
The security staff is ineffective and often more focused on their phones than on maintaining safety in the area. I don’t blame them, given the shady circumstances surrounding this complex.
Bottom line: Avoid renting from Madison West Apartments (formerly Emory). Your peace of mind is not guaranteed here.

Excellent leasing experience! Yeslin in the front office was very helpful during the leasing process, most of which was done while I was out of state. Community is clean and quiet, I see maintenence daily keeping it that way. Apartment was in great condition and even came with some welcoming gifts upon move in. I have been here for about 30 days now and can honestly say that I am happy with the experiences I have had with moving in and the ease of transition into it becoming a home. Glad, at least so far, that I leased here.
