The on-site manager in any apartment-living situation makes all the difference in one's quality of life. As a relatively new renter after living in a house for most of my life, I have not been particularly impressed with the "typical" manager, who is usually "getting by" but never going "above and beyond" for the wellbeing of the residents, UNTIL KARLA ARRIVED! She stays available to residents, even when she isn't on-site. I alwys know she will answer me asap. So I'd like to state publicly that ever since Karla came to the Fitz, I have been pleasantly shocked, so much so, that I truly worry about the day when she might leave. She cares a great deal about the state of the building and takes pride in making it as nice as possible, as if she lives here too. She answers immediately when I email her, and does her best to reasonably resolve any problem. The key is that she is a person with higher standards, who cares a lot about how she does her job. This has been a huge boost to my confidence in living here, and I hope she will stay here for as long as I'm here! I am crossing my fingers...
