I’ve lived at this apartment complex for almost two years, and the fire alarm system has been a constant issue the entire time. The alarms go off randomly, sometimes in the middle of the night (3am, 7am) or during the day, for no real emergency. Every time, the entire building has to evacuate, only for the firefighters to confirm it was a false alarm. Even the fire department has said the system is outdated and needs replacement, but management hasn’t addressed it.
What makes it worse is that there’s no onsite office, so it’s extremely difficult to reach anyone about the problem. Today alone, the alarm went off TWICE for no reason. For the amount we pay in rent and building utilities, it’s unacceptable that management hasn’t taken care of this.

I moved my mom into this apartment 2 months ago. Great location. Quiet. Wonderful access. The manager Violet Godinez has been a great communicator and very responsive. My mom loves her space. We would rather pay for a nicer apartment rather than communal spaces (workout room, lounge, etc). One maintenance issue-fire alarm battery needed to be replaced. It was easy to file the issue; it was resolved quickly, and the management company (wonderdog) followed up to ensure it was corrected. Very happy w/ our decision.

Violet was able to find me my ideal apartment within a day with a parking space. She was fast, efficient, and helped me with all the documents and questions within a timely notice. She helpful and engaging. Thank you so much!

Great location. Otherwise, see attached photo for reference. I have contacted maintenance and property management staff since April 2024 about meldew in my closet. No resolution and has not been complete now in late December. At this point, I feel ignored. Also, Violet is the ONLY person that you can talk to from the office. If she's out of office, our issues are ignored - one time our entire building was ignored for 6 months while Violet was on maternity leave. (Pick a random tenant and ask).
Update 1/7: I no longer smell anything at this time. There is a slight odor that comes and goes but maintenance finally helped and poured vinegar water down the drain connecting to washer. The water was dirty in washer after this, however, two weeks later it seems clean.
I should also note that i have asked for my lease renewal for at least three months in advance, and with one week left on my lease I still have no answers.
Update 10/2: fire alarms still faulty. They go off randomly neary every month at 4am and this week it has become more consistent, once it happened twice daily. They are factory alarms so they are LOUD. All tenants just found out that fire martial has contacted the complex multiple times about fixing broken c02 alarms in all units which "don't work" - fireman - and the faulty alarms.
My patience ran out. I have clearly given them chances, and I have come to the conclusion The Celine does not care about their tenants. I am leaving asap.
If you have animals or children, definitely not the place for you. If you are single and don't have responsibilities like work, or school (where you may be tired from waking up twice a day from alarms) - go ahead! 🙌🥲

No on-site management results in long delays in maintenance repairs. Tenants are expected to help external vendors enter the complex, even when they weren't the tenant submitting the maintenance request.
Very bizarre set-up at this apartment complex, I would not recommend anyone to live at The Celine, and or any properties under the management of Wonderdog.
