Great place to live in Portland. Rent is reasonable and so is the increase when renewing. They have a parking lot on site but also ample street parking around the entire building. Management has been great and took care of the couple of issues I've had promptly. It's quiet and can't hear your neighbors for the most part even the ones on the floor above you. Also really love that it is within walking distance to a lot of great places so I don't need to drive as often.

I have had a good experience with The Nob Hill Apartments from the beginning. The manager, Rick, was very responsive when I first inquired about the apartment. I wasn't ready to move in when I first toured the available unit, however, Rick showed me a list of other apartments that were opening at a later date, and I got to tour one of those apartments.
The application process and move in process was smooth. I haven't had any maintenance issues, but Rick is very responsive when I inquire about other things.
The grounds are well kept. They even decorated for Christmas! The common areas, such as the hallways and the laundry rooms are always clean.
Overall, the building and the area are very quiet. I rarely hear neighbors. This is a nice part of Portland. We are close shopping and restaurants on NW 21 and 23 Streets. We are close to parks. We are walking distance to a few supermarkets. There are a few nearby bus lines and the Max isn't too far away.
The only reason why I didn't give the apartment is perfect score is I wish that the appliances were newer. HOWEVER, they work just fine and there isn't a reason to replace them if they still work. I just have to be picky about something. ;)

I very much like living at NOB HILL APTS. It's very clean and quiet and Mr. Bean is terrific -- he's a patient, considerate guy. He graciously fixed 2 things I didn't put in a work order for and was great about it. The lady I've met is friendly, too. I feel relaxed asking for things. Summing up in a few words: Clean, quiet apartment complex; gracious, considerate staff. Thank you.

I moved to Portland almost 8 years ago and have lived in this building the entire time. I've lived in places on the East Coast and outside the country, and this has easily been my best experience. Whenever I need maintenance done, the management team has gotten right on it. This past January, I had an issue where my unit flooded from a back-to-back ice and snow storm. The entire team was there from 9am-1pm, helping get everything sorted out, and continued to check on me periodically until a new carpet could be put in later. It's a quiet street with quiet, respectful neighbors that I've never had a problem with. I love how up-to-date they keep us for things like laundry room issues, work done on walkways, etc.

I've been living here for years and love it. It's the longest I've ever rented from one place, as it's been a great experience. The staff has changed a couple of times since Bryan left, which made me nervous (he was great!) but luckily there have been no issues with new staff. Any issues I've noticed are resolved in a timely fashion and maintenance requests are taken care of often same-day. The rental price has been reasonable the entire time I've been here and it is a quiet, respectful community who changes their laundry when it's done, takes in their packages and will put a misplaced package on your front step. Admittedly, there have been a couple of times when a package was taken, but that's somewhat inevitable without a secured package area. I actually prefer this, I would rather stay in my own space where possible and this is the perfect complex to do so. No pets accepted, and although I love dogs, it does allow for quiet, clean communal areas without the stench of urine.
