Public Transit

Lane Transit District (LTD) covers Eugene well, and the Emerald Express BRT runs from Springfield through the UO campus to the Santa Clara area. EmX (the BRT) is frequent and reliable for its route. For students near the EmX stops, going car-free is viable. UO's campus is very walkable within itself.

Walking and Biking

Eugene has excellent biking infrastructure for its size — dedicated lanes, multi-use paths along the Willamette, and a flat river valley terrain that makes year-round cycling practical.
